Mach 1 Scoop...
Ok guys,
Now im just looking to see what the reaction would be from you all if i went ahead and put a Ford Mustang Mach 1 hood scoop on my 2.8 bird. Now obviously it would just be cosmetic with no added air flow ( a little drag maybe). now i want to stay as far away as possible from being a R1cer. so if i did put it on it would be done right. i have some pics of it sitting on my 350. the reason i even consider it is because my dad was tossing it and I thought might look cool. I personally think it looks alright but i would welcome all opinions. Keep in mind this isn't the car its going on. It is going on my 2.8 RS that is currently recovering from a transplant and is waiting on me to start throwing paint. =)

if you like it then do it.
It definitely looks better then those fake 3m Lund(?) scoops on the truck in the background
It looks ok. But i wouldnt say it looked spectacular

Ya i definitely knew that people would have a opinion. i will repeat that it is not going on that hood im painting my other car( all the fenders and such sitting next to the car in the pic...lol) and it would go on that one... which is a 1989 RS just like uncle toms.... lol Ya i think ill paint both hoods and switch them one with the scoop and with out.

I dont believe ill ever put it on. ill just have to wait and buy a Ram Air II hood. *sigh* i still think it looked alright but it was meant for a stang. It most likely will end up on eBay. Thanks for the feed back! ill be sure to post Pics of my Paint job when it gets done!
