I have my first one done. Like purpleworm said, it will take a while. If I had a way to post pics in a reasonable amount of time, I would. But such is not not case so let me tell you, you will love the way they turn out if you take your time.

I started my wheels last summer and Im still not done. But they already look alot beter than they did. If you do polish them you'll fell like your never done because polished wheels are high maintenice. One of my friends has done this to his wheels and the end result was well werth the time.
When I started my wheels the first thing i did was use some aircraft paint striper to get the paint and clear coat off of the wheels. From then you just use sand paper
starting with a rough grade to get the texture out, and just keep working your way down to a finer grade. Finle step would be to rub polish into them. These steps will be alot of work.

I have always had the best luck with Mothers polish.
The number of hours you will spend on the wheel will depend on what kide of shape its in. If its a clean wheel I would guess some where around 7 or 8 hours. If the wheel has ceroded over the years it will probably take longer.
