any Dark Metallic Red Cars?
I have an 86 firebird - dark metallic red. I'm pretty sure I love the color, but my paint is so bad it's hard to tell. I want to see any dark red metallic cars, but especially a Firebird. I've seen some TA's but no base models. Camaros are cool too.

Those are some good looking cars! Does anyone know the paint code for that color in '86? Here's the only spot on my car that looks kind of shiny....

My second favorite color. Blu's fiance`s car astonishes me everytime I see it...
My favorite would have to be blue but the 'bird paintes DRM can't go wrong, just no two tone like in the pic please.

Yeah, I debated fo a while, but I decided the two tone has got to go. The beautiful DRM cars on here have definitely helped me make up my mind!

This is Paint code 75 (WA9540), Brilliant Red Metallic, an original TA color in 1991. I have always liked it, hope you do too.

That TA looks great in the sun! The paint code 75 looks very close to code 74, Flame Red Metallic, which is what I'm pretty sure mine is. Very Nice!

I can't post pics yet, my car is being put together. The color is a GM code # 301n "red jewel effect". This color is amazing ! It has a dark side-tone with a bright face.. it looks like a candy but is a two stage . If you are close to an auto body shop supply house you should look up this color in their 2008 books, it is a SAAB color.

Its an on going project (slow) along with several other projects that keep the progress slow. I have had 4th gens, corvettes of nearly every gen and this has been one of my favorites. A friend once told me, a corvette or 4th gen might make you do a double take, but a really nice third gen you just can't take your eyes off of it until its out of sight. I think he's right. Lets keep seeing more of these get cleaned up and back on the road!
