i want to see some silver third gens...im painting mine with rustoleum aluminum..and want to get a better idea how sexy it can look!..thanks!!

You might want to seriously rethink that color choice with the Rustoleum. That was my first choice when I repainted my car last summer. Get a test panel to paint with it first and you'll see what I'm talking about. It color doesn't look even over large areas. Silver is the hardest color to paint, IMO....even though it would look sweet if it came out right.

as long as it wasnt custom mixed

what he is saying is that silver is a complex color, its not just grey with metallic shine...
if you want it to look good and even, you will probably need a decent gun and paint.
i say go for it, if you hate it, re do it... you will be out what, $50...

even if i rolled it on??...im not seeing what is so complex about it...what other colors are that way?...is black a bad color to do?

you have me very confused. You said rustoleum, which makes me think spray can. Then you say a gallon, which makes me think spray gun... then you mention rolling it on... then spray gun again. What exactly do you have and how do you plan to apply it?

i have a gallon of rustoleum paint...it comes in gallons quarts and spray cans...you can either roll it on..or use a spray gun..im not sure which one im going to do
