I've been thinking about maybe chroming my rims....as stated, they are 91-92 Z/28 style.

Has anyone ever seen these chromed?

Any ideas on how much it might cost?

I can't really picture it...

I love these rims, but I'm sorta getting tired of them cuz of all the work it takes to maintain them...they have white paint trim on em, and the brake dust just pounds em every single day!

I think I'll either chrome em, or get stock 88-90 style IROC rims put back on...

I have chrome 91/92 z-28 rims. I bought them at a local shop here in raleigh, NC. Got plenty pics on my web site.

You bought them chromed?

OR

You had em already, and went to the shop and had em chromed?

$1200 is an awful lot....I'd probably just buy some stock IROC rims..

P.S. That blue ground glow kit is hella cool!! How much did that run you?

P.P.S. How much was it to get that spoiler put on?

Tripleplated...don't ask about the cost. The shop around here in Cleveland charges 250 a wheel for single plating with a one year warranty. Here's pics of Kandied91z's tripleplated wheels...just incredible to see up close in person.

I did buy the rims already chromed. If I had those same rims (not chromed), I could of traded them in for the chrome ones and got like half off. They told me it would of cost about the same to send some originals off to get chromed. As far as the spoiler goes, It cost me $250 from http://www.cervinis.com/NewFiles/partssearch_pg.html
Just the instalation and paint alone was around $400 because there were so many holes that needed to be filled. Plus my body many kinda charges a lot, but he's real good. Oh and the blue lights cost a little over $200 from www.streetglow.com
