im not a fan of either of them. If i had to choose i'd say option2. Option 1 looks like some thing you would find on a tahoe

unless you have a really nice brake setup or plan on getting something nice behind the rims.. I'd go with option 1...however option 2 would look awesome showing off some equally stout brake setup..either way, they both would look great

Thanks for the opinions fellas.. C6 Z06 brakes on all four corners is next. Also thought about this one also..... keep in mind all wheel options will come in a staggered 19 inch setup.

Re: Fellow Third-Genners.. I need ur opinion..
I have the 18" Boze force rims on mine (top rim), all black formula. here is a pic
of the back wheel with a drag radial on it. I also have the 6 piston bear brake set up behind it. I picked it because it was a blend of a black wheel look with a traditional 5 star feel. the second rim seems more European, import, (dont get pissed JMO, although might look real good on a new vette). I like your 3rd mesh wheel also. is price a factor in your decision?
Its a long story but I do not have a pic of the whole car with the wheel on it. I have not seen any pictures of my car complete (by choice). I am picking it up from hawks next month. just gonna wait to see the car in person complete when its ready.
so if you can wait, I will post up a pic then.

Re: Fellow Third-Genners.. I need ur opinion..
Kevin.. My thoughts were the same on this wheel.. stay true to the classic nature of the car. For some reason I dont know why this wheel doesnt "fit" to me. Maybe I will search a few other billet options. I thought about the Boze Tach Wheel also, but I would have to color the spokes for it to suit my taste for how I want the car to look. The HRE mesh wheels jus look damn good. But those are about 1500 a wheel.. Im not robbing B of A anytime soon just for a set of these. Thanks for your input though. Check back as I will put up more options.

I know you don't want to hear this, but some black cross lace GTA wheels would look the best. Those other wheels just don't look right unless you do a bunch of other appearance mods (may as well get a 4th gen in that case). That opinion applies to both options, but if i were to choose, option 1 looks much better. But nice 4 wheel disc would be a good start.

Re: Fellow Third-Genners.. I need ur opinion..
oooohhh... You have a nice selection of wheels to pick from! I do not think you can go wrong with any of them as long as you get the planned big brakes behind them.
Option 1 definately seems to be the option to go with for more of the classic domestic look.
Options 2 and 3 go towards a Euro style, but there is definatley nothing wrong w/ that.
I personally would go with Option 1 or Option 3 w/o the bolt pattern going around the parimeter of the wheel, Option 2 is just a little much for me, but that's me and my preffered style...
I definately like the grey or gunmetal color wheels on the red car, and I definately like the deep dish, recessed wheels!!
Good luck w/ the decision and make sure you get photos up w/ the finished result.

Gonna have to say option 1. I think it complements the tone of the car better. There not to flashy like most chrome ones. I will tell you your gonna need some better brakes to complement the new rims cause the stock stuff just looks ugly.

Re: Fellow Third-Genners.. I need ur opinion..
no contest...
3 is the only logical choice.
1 might look good on a camaro, but not a trans-am.
2 is out of the question a terrible match for the car IMO

Option 1 isn't to bad.I like the cross laced wheels too,but can see how they'd be a nightmare to clean.
Try a good semi metallic brake pad,it'll help to cut down on brake dust.If your using the organic ones forget it,you'll have dust everywhere.

Re: Fellow Third-Genners.. I need ur opinion..
You all have great insight and input.. thanks alot. At this moment I am thinkin about option 3.. It seems to fit what I want the most. 1 looks ok to me, but something about that wheel takes away from the overrall look and feel of the car. 2. i thought looked great, but after hearing that it looks a little importish, that made me look at it a little harder. Still looks pretty good, but I do want the car to have a slight hot rod look. Which brought me to 3. Nice classy lines in the wheel along with the gunmetal look on my paint scheme sets the car off I think. Keep the input coming. Thanks alot for your thoughts everyone.
Re: Fellow Third-Genners.. I need ur opinion..
None of the 3. I would avoid 19", tire selection isn't as good. I suggest 18x9 all around if you can.
My suggestion is to get the rims that godspeedgta used. They seem to be similar to the look that you are aiming for.

Hey Sporty.. it funny, I looked at that wheel too. Great looking specimen. I personally thought the straight lines on option 3 were better since the lines on our cars are relatively straight. The forgeline wheel spokes fork out and that was the only thing that kinda turned me off about it. I do like the wheel though. Good choice, great minds think alike.

It is a hot wheel!haha!
I guess cause maybe the stock snowflake wheels look hot to begin with on your car I guess any aftermarket wheel that would mimick that look would be awesome.
I noticed that your GFX were gray and thats why I suggested the forgeline.
Picking out wheels is a headache! I have had 4 defintately maybes!!!haha
they always come out with something new and hot.Im afraid I will buy something and then find something better and be pist.
I actually wanted the Boze wheels you picked out(option #1). But I am going for a pro touring style so I am still undedcided.
Have you checked out the raceline wheels?

I say none of the above. I like keeping the stock wheels, they look good. If you don't have the stock wheels, I'd go with 16" IROCS, the early Z28 wheels,or the golden Crosslace wheels that the 87 and 88 Firebirds have. (forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure if 89's and later had them)
