opinions about new mods

Just did some new mods to my camaro and wanted to get some opinions. First i polished and painted some tail lights. Also painted the front grille and put some newer turn signals on . Then i installed 4th gen washer and overflow tanks . I have to thank BlueZee28 for his write up on these made it look so easy so i had to do it.

Re: opinions about new mods

The only thing i didnt see was what BlueZee28 did with his cover for the washer bottle . Sence the bottle sat down a little i had to cut a hole in it and left a spot so i can stick my finger in and open it. then i painted it white to match the car. so what do yall think . any comments welcomed good or bad.thanks in adavance.

I don't care for the white stripes on the taillights or the stars in the stripes. But it is your car & you hafta be happy with it. As long as YOU like it, that is what counts, huh?

Re: opinions about new mods

Looks good man, I'm glad my little write-up helped you out. What I did was just cover up the bottle completely, and when I need to refill it, I will just pull the push-pins out and refill it. Push pins are so easy to remove, I didn't want to cut a hole in the cover:

Re: opinions about new mods

thanks for the comments guys. i really like the tail lights . at first i thought they would like stupid with the white but after i put them on i thought they matched the white car alot. plus it is something little different . as for the stars and strips i know not everyone will like them but i could pretty much say i will be the only one with them . i love the red white and blue and i think it brings it to the car but not over powering the car just enough for me. again thanks for the nice words everyone .

Good: I like the taillight mod, seems to work very well with white. I like the 4th gen coolant tank mod and will be doing that mod to my t/a this spring. The stripes are done correctly, on the hood and on the rear spoiler, not on the roof or bumpers, which is the way stripes should be for a chevy. Nice overall patriotic/American theme.

Bad: I think the rear license plate frame and sticker on the back window could be removed.

Indifferent: Kind of would like to see stars on the rear stripes but it works without them too.

Re: opinions about new mods

as for the license plate frame i been meaning to take it off for a while now guess i keep forgetting it is on there. the sticker kinda goes with the theme . and the rear deck lid and wing is still not done . it still has spray can paint on it from when i was trying to see what stripes would look like on my car.it will have the stars on the back also.and it is not spray can paint anymore i used dupli color paint shop paint. the hood is the only thing i really finished . kinda out of work right now so no money to finish the car . i have a driver fender and door ready to go on but need new weather stripping and new hienge pins befor they go on. this is a slow process but one day it will be done .
