Re: What a piece...
Since then, I ran it into a ditch, hence the '84 front bumper and bent fender, the hood and the vents for the fenders and filler panels for the bumpers are all fine, just weren't on at the time of that first pic. I decided I'd show it in it's most pitiful state... but I have to strip all the paint off. Had a quickie paint job done before I bought it, all of that's peeling off and it's starting to look like crap.
I have a few problems under the hood I need to sort out before I get started on the exterior, though...
And then there's the interior. *cringe*

Re: What a piece...
The headliner is missing, the trim pads have seen better days, the seats are ripped, the radio cuts on/off constantly, the speakers are removed since taking it off the road...
I have a parts car, but it's not in good shape interior wise either. In fact, a lot of stuff was stolen off of it while it was sitting in my parent's backyard after I moved out and hadn't hauled it to my new house yet. I knew who stole the stuff, and I went and stole back the trim pads for the doors, so I have something to replace mine with. The headliner and seats aren't ANY good in it whatsoever. The taillights were also stolen, and the thief installed them on his car and then busted them out with a hammer.
Then, a week after I stole my trim pads back, he sold his car for scrap metal. =/

Re: What a piece...
Forgot to mention, the parts car has electric locks/windows. His car had manual windows. The passenger's side trim pad was installed with a nice hole cut through it for the window handle.
Driver's side hadn't gotten that far yet.

Re: What a piece...
When I paint my car, it's going to be majorly black with silver accents. I was even thinking of painting those crappy rims to match the car... at least temporarily until I could find something I liked.

Re: What a piece...
I don't really like those, though... =/
What I want would probably have to be custom made, and then we're talking $$$ that I don't have nor want to put into this thing.

Re: What a piece...
I have to disagree on the wheels. When they came out they were so cool compared to what was out there. Much better then the Camaro wheels. Anyway Fiero/Sunbird wheels are 14s. The T/A wheels are big fat performance wheels that improve the ride and handling on any other earlier F-body IMO.

Re: What a piece...
To me, the body molding on the 1984 car always seemed "tacked on as an after thought" while the 1985 and up cars had a much more well thought out ground effects design. But your right, to each their own.
