My Trick - LED 3rd brake light.
Im not done yet and haven't decided if i want it as long as the back glass. Im going to mold it into the window trim then night shade the clear Poly to hide the in cased LED diodes. you'll never see it till i brake

thats pretty neat. I thought about doing something similar, only putting them in the reflector part at the bottom of my TA tailights, but like alot of things, it never happened.

Got a wider pic from the rear? Wondering how wide it is.
Is it just 1 strip for the brake light or 2 separate strips to act as left & right turn signals & both together as a brake light

are you using a light strip like you see for trucks that go between the bottom of the tailgate and the top of the bumper?

Nice, I got one from a caddy escalade. Its very long & tapered, higher in the middle.Been wanting to mod it into the spoiler, but the Astro Van piece is still holding up well.
Looks like it goes down the sides of the glass.I'd cut it down so its only on the top portion.Id also mount it inside behind the visor section at the top, but i scrape/remove the visor material.Just enough for the LED strip though.
Good mod though.

i was thinking of getting this one and putting it along the bottom of the spoiler. 70 dollars is a good price for all the stuff it can do. turn signals, running lights, brake light and even reverse light.

Re: My Trick - LED 3rd brake light.
magic
The pics i have are not very good (camera phone) it is as wide as the top window trim. Its just one strip all i want is a nice visible brake light for idiots.
no this is different. This strip is super thin
It doesn't, like i said i still deciding on how long i want it. i thought about scraping the black painted part too and having it on the inside of the glass but you'll probably notice it more, if its in the trim its going to be harder then hell to spot
- Too everyone else thanks for the nice complements and comments guys
