The last summer... has been hell on my poor camaro. Besides suffering body damage, my girlfriend is just TRASHING my interior. I try to tell her to be carefull, and she has gotten better... but anytime I tell her to stop dirtying up my car, she just calls me "**** retentive". DAMN ****ING RIGHT I'M **** RETENTIVE!!!!!!!!!! She's driving me crazy. She rests her dirty shoes against my nice carpet doorpanel, crosses her legs and leaves dirt marks on my console, doesn't care if the floor mat is under her shoes, and leaves massive ammounts of crummage all over my seats and carpet.

Today we went to the fair and on the way was eating a chocalate bar. By now I've given up caring, but I guess this incident resparked my love for my car. She was feeding me some of it, and I was taking little bites here and there. Finally she decides to give me the whole damn bar and when I take a bite, drops it right in between my driver leather seat and the center console. I'm fricken pissed, but I don't let it out on her. I quickly tell her to leave it as she reaches for it, but she grabs it anyway, and procedes to drag it up, leaving nice chocolate stains on my console carpet

After telling me she got it, I thanked her for smooshing chocolate on my carpet. Sarcastic and upset? Yes. Angry, mean, and yelling at her? No... I was fricken calm, didn't bitch her out or nothing... I just left it at that.

Well NOOOOOOOO, I was apparently being mean, and for the next half of the fair I got to hear about how big a ****ing ******* I am.

When I got home I looked at her seat and found a crap load of crumbs and some stainage on her seat. I got up and found nothing on mine, even though I eat in there too.

I don't blame you at all for being upset. You keep your car clean, so why can't everyone else? Is it that hard? So many people don't respect cars, it's not even funny. Might invest in some plastic and put on the passenger side

But just see if she becomes "**** retentive" if you walk in her house with dirty shoes and drop chocolate on her carpet.

 

I'd fire her!

 

I used to be a manager at Advance Auto and we had disposable plastic seat covers we would use if we needed to sit in the customers car. Maybe you could stop by there or another car place and see if they'll give you a couple. You can then put them on the seat before she gets in and maybe she'll get the message.

 

If a person is not willing to respect my property, I no longer need them in my life. What you are experiencing is the shape of things to come. Anotherwards RUN!

 

I agree completely - if she has no respect for your treasured belongings and doesn't care what kind of messes she leaves behind, what kind of slob is she going to be to live with in the future? This is a sign of things to come...

wanna talk about scary? my girlfriend dyed her hair in my car...if i didnt put a towel behind her head without her knowing, my black seats would have turned bleach white.

Shes a girl and its just a car to her, on top of that its an old car. Just get your hands greasy one day at her place and see how she acts!

 

man my wife dose the same thing in my cars, my last car i had i would have it all cleaned up for car shows and shine up the dash and she would always put her feet on the dash and leave foot prints or make a big mess in the car on the way to a show which always pissed me off. but ill cost me to much money now to get rid of her lol.
