BEST TIRE DEAL EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone!!! I have stumbled across the best deal ever on tires!!! If anyone is interested in BRAND NEW Goodyear GSC's...size 245/45/ZR16's, I just bought 100 of them at a smoking discount. Just so you know, Tire Rack has them for $436.00 a set. I can let anyone have a full set of them for $279.00. That is a full set of 4 tires. I know they are directional, as well as one sided...so I got 50 right side and 50 left side. You people all know me, and I would not tell you something that is not true...this is a legit deal, and the tires are brand new...not blemished or re-treads. You can email me at CarNDrvr@aol.com if interested!!! And please...moderators...let this post stay...even you guys could use a deal like this.

------------------
1991 Camaro RS, approximately 500hp 355, 11:1 compression, Eagle h-beam rods, forged steel crank, TRW lightweight 2 valve relief pistons, comp cams hydraulic roller, fully ported Dart Iron Eagle heads, Victor Jr., Holley 750, Hooker shorty headers w/3" collector, true dual 3" exhaust, Moroso spiral mufflers, T56 6-speed, Boyd Coddington 17x9, 17x11 wheels, 275/40zr17 fronts, 315/35zr17 rears, Cerullo racing seats w/ harnesses, Harwood cowl hood, 4:10 posi, Global West adjustable rear suspension, panhard bar and torque arm, Hotchkis front and rear springs, 1LE sway bars, Koni adjustable shocks, Edelbrock strut tower brace.

That sounds great! I need new tires. Will this tire size fit my formula "deep dish" rims? How much for shipping? Any pics?

Not at the moment...I have them ordered, and they will be here in a couple days. I am a dealer for Discount Tire...which is where I am getting them from...they had a hell of a special on these, so I grabbed 25 sets of them.

I was only able to get this deal on this size of tire...I can't get them in 245/50/16...just 245/45/16. The differene is minimal. The 245/45/16's are just slightly shorter than the 245/50/16's. It would actually be a slight increase in gearing too. I took what I could get, and the size is almost the same as the 245/50/16's, and for this price, I think they are a steal for anyone.

Ok...I am glad to help everyone out that wants them. This is the only size that I can get at this price break...I say take what we can get. I also have a '98 Trans Am with 16" wheels, and you know where a set of these is going!! I might even keep another set as a spare for when I wear the first ones out. Here is a breakdown on shipping:

Eastern US...$55.00 a set

Central US...$65.00 a set

Western US...$75.00 a set

Just so everyone knows...I accept Visa/Mastercard, Discover, cashier's checks, money orders, paypal, and cash!!!

The tires are coming out of Pennsylvania...not Texas. My father owns the business up there and I work for him. And as far as your car having 215/60/16's...your wheels are 16x8, and these tires would not only work, but work and fit better than your 215's.

i dont know about anyone else on this board but ive always been told the GSC was a bad perfomance tire....low wet traction...low dry traction too cause of the hard compound......ive just heard some bad things about them......

I am assuming you have never run them then. I had them on my Trans Am. When I needed new tires, I went the cheap route and got some "V" rated cheapies from NTB and there is no comparison in how the car handles now. It now has body roll and spins the tires much easier. GSC's have a soft compound and grip really well. Anyone that has run them in the past knows this.

A couple of months ago I got a set of these exact tires from the local goodyear dealer. It's a discontinued size. I paid 64 bucks per tire.

Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, currant red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...

Why does there always have to be that select handful of people trying to down someone else when they are trying to help everyone out? First there is a post about them not being a good tire...then a post about "I paid this for them"...everyone knows this is a good deal. Maybe it is a discontinued size, but it is a good size as well. I am not making hardly any money off of this, so to anyone who is interested, let me know and I will hook you up. Here is what they look like:

Sorry guys...the only size I can do this price in is the 245/45/ZR16's. I ran across this smoking deal on that size, so I bought a full 18 wheeler full of them.

if you still have the deal available in about 2-3 weeks i'll have enough saved and you will definately have another buyer on your hands. This is a pretty good deal if you ask me, and at this point.....ANYTHING is better than the tires i have now (bald)

So actually they are being sent from PA.

I was hoping to save some money on shipping costs by picking them up in Texas. I am going to be in the Dallas area the 2nd weekend in October.

I will have to think about the deal now that it is being shipped from PA.

Thanks!!!

Well, I will have plenty to go around. They aren't even due in for another week or two. I will be out of town over the weekend of Oct. 16-17 at a PT Cruiser show. I will try to bring some back with me so anyone here locally can get some without having to ship them.

Is the final destination for these tires going to be McKinney?

If so can the folks in TX roll by and pick them up?

The final destination will be in Pennsylvania. I will try and bring back as many sets as I can to TX. I may only be able to bring back a set or 2 because I am squeezing them into a PT Cruiser. So far 2 people want me to bring them a set to TX, so I think I am all filled up on tires to bring back with me. The rest will have to be delivered. Even with the shipping charges, you can't even come close to getting these for this price. I will let everyone know how many sets I could bring back with me after I return.

I called around ten tire dealers in my area and they could not give me a price remotely close to what I will be paying with shipping for these tires. The best deal online I could find was at slponline for 100 a pop and that doesn't include shipping. I say if you got the funds this is too good of a deal to pass up. I had him put my name down on a set. I've seen them on 3rd gens and they are they look very sharp, I wish I could find a pic! I've heard good things about how they perform as well. Face it, for $69 a tire, you can't go wrong! Here is goodyears site that has info on them: http://www.goodyeartires.com/catalog.../EAGLEGSC.html

Got your mail, and got your name on a set. Thanks for the price comparison 89irocn2o...you proved my point better than I did...LOL!!! I will be keeping 2 sets for myself, but that leaves another 40 sets available. I have people's names on 11 of those sets already, so let me know if anyone else out there wants some. Thanks guys!!

You want some pics, look at my website. That's what is on my car. Those sidewalls are really thick--they actually stick out past the wheel right next to the bead. I'll try to get a close up and show you want I mean. A PITA to mount using old equipment, but they handle really well.

Stub25...I have you on the email list now...you email address is bucky2@chorus.net, right? The shipping is quoted for a full set of 4. I am not taking any deposits either. I want them in my possession before I start taking money. This makes 14 sets so far with people's names on them. I got a confirmation today that I am getting a total of 35 sets, and 2 of them are mine. That means that I have 19 sets left right now. Any pre-orders are guaranteed a set. Thanks guys!

I have you marked as wanting a set brought down to TX, but I can't really promise anyone anything yet because I am not sure how many tires I can fit into the PT. I think I will be doing good if I can even squeeze 2 sets in it. I have 2 people marked down as wanting a set brought down here. What I could do is let each one of you get 2 tires brought down here and have the other 2 tires shipped, so shipping would only be half as much. I will see what I can get in the PT Cruiser, but I am not promising anything. Hope this helps.

Cliff...I have you down for a set now...and yes I will sell pairs instead of sets. I will sell a pair for $150.00. I figure that is fair since I will be breaking up a set. Full sets are still $279.00. Thanks guys!
