I'll go with number 6. (last one)

The paint matched several and looks like a real one. (so do the others, but I went with this one). The rims look like ones off tirerack.com

But those wheels are horrible looking.

I say 6...but any ways...I need to learn how to use my Photoshop 6.0. I just installed it on my comp..but have no idea how to use it. How do you actually do the paint change like that? Can somebody send me an email...or maybe put up some kind of post which helps tutor others. I dont like asking people for photoshop favors...I would rather do it myself. After a while the Photoshopping favor gets a little old....and I noticed many people were getting annoyed over the fact that people were asking others to do it for them. So if you help us that do not know how to use the program...then you will not need to do others 50 million photoshop favors. It will save a lot of time and space on this board if somebody took the time and responsibility of helping us less educated Photoshop users the tricks of the program. Thanks.

James

P.S. Nice work with the Photoshopping...you may have tricked me.

are you guys positive? i will not disclose the correct answer, i will leave u guys wondering if it actually is number 6, and to change the color, create a new layer, set the layers properties to hue, theres a little drop down box thats says 'normal' and u click it and u can choose, theres quite a few, but go to *hue* and then pick a color and then paint the car over, but u have to color in between the lines, just like in kindergarten.

My vote's for #6. A question...how much is Photoshop 6 anyway? All the pics could pass for real, that's some great work.

photoshop is around 600 dollars, not really worth it if youre just gonna doodle, most people get it the other way, i will not say this way because it is a) illegal and b) ill probably get kicked or banned off this forum.

Exactly what DyeInBreed said. But I couldnt see the point in spending $600 on something I would just doodle with. It is a common program used in graphic design and other computer animated and generated stuff. Good luck in getting your photoshop 6.0...I find it really cool..but I am not that good at using it. It gets a little discouraging when you notice how much you s*ck at doing it compared to others on here. Try emailing somebody to see how they got it...maybe somebody can "help" you out with getting your own...I would hate to get kicked off of this forum...since it is by far my favorite website. Even when I get my 4th Gen...I will stick to this site. Chances are that one day I will own 1 1st gen, 2 3rd gens, and a 4th gen. But that is just a dream...lets just hope that everything with my future career goes as planned.

I tried to figure out the changing color thing. Couldn't get it. Didn't work. Created the layer, but did nothing.

I am a graphic designer... It is definitely #6. No one would buy decent rims and leave the white line out. You could have at least rotated one of the rims a little bit... it is unusual to have both centre spokes pointing at 12:00. Last but not least you left a little sliver of red on the rear wheel well. All in all a pretty good job though.

Where's this prize?

I too say #6 is the real one.. why because you forgot to either leave the white ring around the rim on the front tire of all the other images, or at least remove the ring you left on the rear tires of the other images. I'm no Photoshop pro, but would not have over looked that .. no offence.
also the rims on the other images look pasted on. Good color shifting though..

It has to be 6. All the others have the same rims w/ the same fake brake rotors behind them, that both have the spokes at 12 o clock (as someone else pointed out). #6 is the only one where the wheels have shading that reflects the way light is hitting the rest of the car... really good color changes though... I went in PSP and zoomed in damn close to the borders trying to find some color bleed into the bushes or hatch and couldn't find any
