Crazy...I don't like it that much. Engine looks bad *** and all, but it sits alittle too high, needs to match the lines of the car better. Love the blower though!
IT SUCKS!!!They make blowers that fit under the hood. You'll never get anyone to race you with that thing sticking out of the hood. I think the stock look with a blowers rules. The 'stealth' look rules

i love that pic i wish it was a pic of a z28 but that still looks bad @$$ and id love to have my car look like that. and for the guy u was talkin about the blower under the stock hood. they dont make that kinda blower that fits under stock hoods becuz thats probably the weind 8/71 blower and well u cant fit that under no stcok hoods, in jegs they sell like holly 142 blowers that may fit under stock hoods and hoods with small cowals on em. well thats my .02.

You have no clue what your talking about this car rocks and will blow you away any day. First of all this car is ment to race on the !DRAG STRIP! if you havent been yet your well over due for a trip. If they made this kind of car leagal to drive on the road I would drive one everday on the steet.
Blowers rock this beast just says power all over it and most likly has the power to pull you house right of the pavement so dont diss the car unless you have a slight clue what you are talking about.

It's cool if you're into the Pro Street look. But I'd rather keep it under the hood as well, whether it be supercharger, turbos or heavy doses of nitrous.

HEY!!! That looks like our 75 vette but we only got the 6-71 with 2 750s and a hilborn. I'll scan the pics asap.
Lucky me.....we have 5 vettes (89 greenwood, 74-runs 6.80s 1/8 mile, 75- has the blower, 85- stepsisters vette, and a 2002). We also have a 442 olds cutlass, Fiero with a 350 stuffed in it, and 308 farrari kit car- in progress as I type, 48 chevy, and a choptop ford truck- not sure what year but it looks kickass.
I'll see if I can get pictures of those for ya when I go back home.

Switch that thing to injected, have a lower profile scoop with the addition to a big cowl induction hood.... yeah, it just might fit!

The look does nothing for me. If the car performs as expected, then I'm all for it. I see so many morons build small blocks with giant polished 8-71 blowers and slicks, then dyno 400 horsepower. All for looks. To me that's as lame as anything a ***** can do. That stuff is designed for performance, with appearance secondary.

Looks awesome, the sleeper look is good sometimes, but I remember seeing an old Chevelle rollin down the road one day with a similar setup, I was OH MY ***, either way it's a bad car, sure you may not get street races, but I'm sure some Civic or Neon will try.
I would rather have a Twin Turbo Vette and blow the thing away while looking completely Factory. Or hell a twin Turbo anything out on the street.
Even the "sledgehammer" corvette, which makes 850+ horsepower doesnt have any of that crap sticking out of the hood. For the strip, its cool. Out on the street its ridiculous.

he ment 400 hp is lame if the car looks like it should have way over 600 hp. I personally dont really like it. Im an FI guy myself. And another thing... whoever started this post never said anything about being only on the track so dont try and make the guys who said it would look stupid on the street sound stupid, cuz it WOULD look stupid on the street

And just to satisfy your sarcasm, when I get this POS tuned properly with the new computer, I'll be solidly in the 3xx horsepower range. But I don't have junk sticking out of my hood.

I really like that look. I want to have a car like that someday. And yes, it will definitely have the power to back the look up (it's rice if you can't back it up). I think it would be even better with some nitrous plates--just a little something extra in case anyone ever says that you should have more power if you're going to have that look
With that car I would say, Phyte, "Though I walk through the valley of Austin, I will fear no Supra."

there used to be a 69 camaro running around here had a blower sticking out of the hood, wheelie bar, and even a set of chutes. the guy took it to the track and the best time he could get was a 13.5 i think. but i'am pretty sure it was the drivers fault. as for the bird it kicks *** i would drive it everywhere. but i also say if it looks tough and its not you wasted your money. and your right you would get any races with that thing on the street but could you imagien all the stares from people and all the pointing :sillylol:

that car looks good, from what i can tell in the picture, it looks to be tubbed and possibly chassis, it don't look like whomever built that car, built it for show (nothings polished), just go!!!,
ya'll will have to make a trip here to michigan, and cruise gratiot rd or telegraph rd on a nice warm friday or saturday, and you'll see your share of cars that are pro-streeted crusing, or come up here (over here, down here, or whereever your from) for the Woodward Dream Cruise, i believe this year its aug17, 2002. there are so many car of all types (mostly old muscle cars though) cruising, i think there was around 30,000 cars and 1.5 million spectators last year, and it get bigger every year,
bottles are for baby's
being blown is for the real men!!!

looks hard core. I love that look. Sure, its not for everyone. And true, if cars like this can't live up to the look, it would just be another poser(which is crap in just about anyones book). But if it does put down the power that the look demands then hey, good job and tuff car.
There are alot of car show only kind of race car look alikes that give people with big blowers a bad name. I think most people who bash cars like this just have different agendas and different priorities for thier car. If 1/4 mile is main concern then a big roots is hard to beat in the long run.
