This is the same equipment Keith used when he cleaned up the 4.3 mile IROC-Z and polished a black car to perfection. Just an FYI, Keith is an IT guy and has never detailed a car to that extent and from what I hear, the black paint was flawless without any swirls or marks.

$125 there, plus a backing plate at $15-$20 from chemical guys and I'm still doing a little better than buying the unit+free backing plate from CG @ $150 + shipping...

I'm gonna head over to Chemical Guys and pick up the backing plate, pads, pad cleaner and conditioner too. I'll be out the door with everything I need in terms of the machine and accessories shipped for about $180, can't beat that!

I would've gotten a kit, but I don't want one of each pad, there are some I don't want, and one I want a couple of so I decided to piece a kit together myself so I don't end up with pads I won't use, etc.
