hi we just picked up this 84 camaro and it has some diffrent mirrors on it. they dont look like the usual camaro firebird mirrors

 

the picture is soo dark its hards to tell

ive never seen them.

 

but maybe on some of the earlier ones, if you got manual mirrors it came with those. mine is a 90 & i know that the 82's -84's have diffrent styling packages than the 90.

 

those are rare but ugly

 

 

does anyone know if they are aftermarket or factory ?

if mean those mirrors, its because in europe, the stock pirrors aren't allwed because they are solid on the doors and can't clap inwards.
for that reason over here we got the ugly square mirrors. but a lot of people who have those buy the original mirros and put them back on the car.

yeah they are stock on some cars but they didnt come on alot of cars and the ones they did they didnt last long enough to make a notice. they look like duck wings

 

Those aren't the stock GM paddle-style mirrors that went on over-seas cars. They look like aftermarket versions or off of another car. Granted that fold-in mirrors did come on some third gens, those are not the factory correct ones.
