got black outs for my SC & fog lights behind the grill "pics inside"
well I decided to break in my new camera and take some picks of my new black outs and fog lights, I want you'r guys honest opinions on how they look.
here are my black outs:
and fog lights:
day:
night:
Since I don't have GFX I put my foglights behind the grill, you can't really see them durig the day since the grill and screen from my bra are in front of them but at night they are very easily visible as you can see.
let me know what you guys think, if the black outs don't look good ill return them

I like the black outs myself. And I think the fogs look great man. Im sure people will tell you to pull the bra, if the paint is fine underneath it, pull it, because it will make the car look much cleaner.
Looks good though man!

, but my bumper is the ugliest part of my car, it's really chiped up, thats the only reason why I can't take the bra off
but im getting a paint job in due time.my girl says my black outs look weird on my car, I was like SHA RIGHT lol, I have gotten some compliments on the fog lights though, everyone say they have never seen them like that and they are "low pro"
does anyone know where I would have to go to get heritage strips put on my car?
i also had a bra on my car, to hide my bumper uglies, but there is no point in ruining MORE paint on the car...
pull the bra, youl eventually get to the point where you love your car more without, even with your fugly bumper damage, i did in a few days

Looks good, Ive been searching for a light color car with taillight blackouts. My car is silver, curious as to what they look like with the blackouts. As for the foglights, I think you'd be better off pulling the grill and replacing with an iroc grill. just my 2 centz

yeap, i wish i could get an iroc grill but it wont fit, is the sc fog light grill the only one that would fit mine?
Yep, either that or modify a non foglamp grille, or build a custom grill (can anyone say billet?).

cant i modify my grill? and how the hell do i do it?
i don't think modifying it would be the best idea, because all I can see done would be to chop it up. I did that with my stock grille, but it looked like crap so I ran around w/out a grille till I bought my bowtie grille, but then I put a "Camaro" grille on it cuz it looked better.
I also can't see billit looking good on our cars.
ahh h*ll, go chop it up, just use some kind of grinding tool to make things smooth.

Here is my opinion, Black outs on that car not bad not good. It doent really do much I mean either way it still looks good. The only only deal is what do the fog lights do for you?..Heat up the radiator maybe ...how hot do those particular ones get?

yeah, our particular foglamps don't do a whole lot, and the blazer one's are just bright, too wide of a beam to do much.
our cars headlights are so good to begin with that the fogs don't do alot.
and I can't see the lights heating up the rad. first off the light doesn't shine on the rad, it's not a fine, concentrated beam and it's not THAT close to the rad. anyone ever touch their foglamps casing? it's never that hot @ all.

My view on tail lights are this... if they are the grid kind leave them alone and if they are the plain ones then black-them out. What I would really like to see is a black out set that goes clear across, kind of like the firebirds, unfortunately the lic. placement kind of nixes that idea. i think camaro could of revamped that back end anyway <especially how the exhaust comes out>. Just my .02 (crap no cents key)

I dont know about you guys but I am running 100W bulbs in my foglights and they light up the road great. If I am driving along at night and switch off my fogs I really do lose quite alot of low road visibility.
Not to mention the car looks just plain mean IMO if I am crusing along during the day with the parking lights and fogs on. Gets attention too

, they just started carrying the blazer driving lights so I had to get them, they work great, I dont know if any other autozone carry's them yet, but checkers does
just autozone is cheaper, spent 20 bucks on mine, but mine are chrome series, basic black ones are 17 bucks.
