Pictures of my 1992 Formula

Hi guys I doubt many of you guys remember from the good old days who I was because I wasn't a member very long before the original site went down.

Anyway my car originally looked like this:

Since then I have done quite a few mods and the car now looks like-

Since the time I took the pictures I have polished the runners on the intake as well.

I plan on lowering the car with some Eibach pro kit springs when I get the car away from Lubbock Texas and its crappy roads. That'll be awhile yet though.

All opinions are welcome.

Also, do you guys think it would look good with TA taillights? I am also really considering painting it black in a few years.

Dude, NO! Do not paint it black! Then what the hell would you be on 3GO? Black WS6 just doesnt have the same ring to it!

I think the white makes the car look awesome! As far as the T/A tails I would go for it. You ever get your tuning problems figured out?

Please don't paint your car black it's one of the sharpest Formula's I've seen. Nice car!

Yeah I think its running really well now. I'll have it back at the track again pretty soon.

Maybe I'll just save my pennies until I can get another one and have it black

Cool good to hear! Just needed to be timed?

And, hmm, a identical Black Formy would be sweet. Go for it!

Paint it black, maybe if you get it done first people will stop giving ME sh*t about wanting to do the same thing

Either way, it DOES look badass "as is" man. The rims and hood are primo. That's the ASCD hood, right?

very sweet ride man. I think it appeals to me more as white because you always see a black formula...That white does something with those wheels that make it more kickass.

Your intake runners look really nice.

I was wondering if you could tell me what you used to polish them?

I agree with the rest, stay with white!

Formula90- Hey man that would be sweet. Only one problem- right now I am in Lubbock Texas! I am at Texas Tech University. I will be home for the thanksgiving holidays and the christmas holidays so maybe we could meet up. I know some guys who are heading to houston raceway park over both of those holidays if you are interested.

Jim- Yes that is the ASCD hood. I love it. It is stronger than any other fiberglass hood I have seen. It doesnt need pins and I have not seen it flexing even at 120mph.

89Irocn2o- Those are 17x9.5" wheels on all corners. The tires are all Khumo 275/40/ZR17's.

fbody88- Very nice car! I have family out in Plano, maybe if I am out there agina we can meet up. Nice ride!

Apone- Those runners in fact are not polished in that picture. They have some of the Eagle One aluminum polish compound rubbed on but were not sanded. They are now, and match the same gloss as the plenum. (so now they look even better)

To polish the plenum/runners I used 60/120/200/320/400/600/800/1000/1500/2000 grits sandpaper, and then polished with Eagle One MAG/aluminum polish.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Adam

The closest I have to a side angle shot has already been posted. I can take some more when I get home for the holidays and get a striaght on side view of the wheels for you.

If you go to www.skulte.com you can look through their products section and Tom Keliher's blue formula has a side view posted and you can see there.

Adam, i must say you have one of the best looking thirdgens out there. I have had your car as a desktop at work for months now. I think it would look great black, but you would have to do it RIGHT... get the engine bay and the sills and stuff done as well. But don't do it!!!
