most people will say orange or black . myself i prefer a lt. gray color , i have used it on several engines i have done . many will say "that color will show any small oil or water leak" . i reply , i rest my case . if i have a small oil or water lk. i want to know about right away , how about you ??? just my thoughts . whatever you do , good luck .

i used duplicolor engine enamal in a spray can from the auto parts store. its rated to 500*

I've had trouble with spray cans, but that was before I knew about epoxy primer

I'll have to look what colors the high temp duplicolor is available in. Not what I would go with.... I'd love a silver, with a few red highlights

they have all kinds of colors. the 305 thats in the car now i did with the semi gloss black.

When I build my first engine for my car it will be an aluminum colored block with black and infrared accents.
