No BBQ lunch, but it was fun! It was actually an expensive little trip with as for two vehicles, hotel(have a 7 month old baby) and food... BUT, I was very happy they were all there to see it!
He took about 500 pictures of it. I hope they turn out good!
I didn't post the fact that it was a gm high tech photoshoot to see who would catch on

LOL! I liked and shared your pic when they posted it. Justin emailed me about mine a month or so ago. wanting more pics and info. I sent some and never heard back. I then found an email in my spam from him saying my pics were not hi-res enough... a week ago. Guess I should get in gear on emailing back! Would love to be a street heat submission in the same issue as yours!

Thanks yall!
I do love the sound. It sounds VERY old school muscle car like when the supercharger belt is removed. It still has a good muscle-car sound when its on, but just different.
I can say the supercharger makes it sound like a lot larger motor than a 350!

It's a 6-speed. The lurch is the initial hit of the car when I popped the clutch. The line-lock was applied, but wasn't quite enough for the sticky tires, so it jumped a little.
I guarantee, if you wanted your car to sit in one spot and spin you would need to use the brakes!

I understand the car has mucho power.. no issue there. but the movement of the car looks like brakes were applied at points.'If I wanted my car to sit and burn out I would not need to apply brakes and it wouldnt lurch at the beginning of a burnout and then stand still.

Re: Brought the car 4 hours to do a burnout.... Video inside
This is what I was face palming... Manual transmission. Your gonna hit the brakes to engage line lock, or your gonna hit the brakes to keep it in one spot for a smoke show. You must have some seriously crappy tires if all your doing is hammering down the gas on your stock tpi and it will stay in one spot without touching the brakes at all.
I am also good enuf with a manual I can launch the car pretty aggressively without much wheel spin in warm weather. brake torquing is hell on the brakes. Most guys I have seen on youtube have to brake torque to get a roast going. his is quite a solid performer tho
Line lock shouldnt be needed unless you just need to heat up the tires for drag. A car with that much power shouldnt need it just to smoke them. with line lock you can get a carb'd 305 stock auto car to smoke em. Turned my new eagle GTs into wheel well cotton candy back in 86 with such a car just nailing it on a turn so line lock wouldnt have been too hard

I have the line lock for drag racing. If I woulda dropped it from 2-3k it would of spun straight to the limiter and I'd have to shift to 2nd...
