definately a sweet ride. i'm gonna have to agree with the idea to get a grill from a newer z28. can't say i'm a fan of those rims though, but maybe if i saw them better. engine looks sweet though, you bought it at advanced auto? how much was it and what kinda numbers is it pushing?

yea i got the engine from advanced.i made it look pretty good.i guess the 350 is better b/c of the 4 bolt main instead of the 2 bolt.i havent raced it yet.just got the engine in it about 3 weeks ago.and i have it put up for the winter now.but i was told from a guy that i know..that he has the same engine and doesnt have to shift untill about 8 and 10 grand.so i am hoping mine will do at least 8.it does shift high though.i am hopefully gonna finish up the sound system and put up some pics.

I agree with the grill too, or just paint the one you have. Also I would lower the car a little, it looks to be sitting a little high. Other than that, the car looks awesome. I actually like that hood on the car too, I'm not a fan of cowl hoods on our cars.

i dont know if i want to paint it or just get a new one.that stuff is kinda expensive and i dont have much money yet.i am working on it.but i have got alot done in the month i have had it.got the engine and tranny in and all hooked up.first time ever but me, my dad, and my brother got it running.i like the hood.i also am not a big fan but i like the way it looks on that car.it sits high b/c i have the back end raised for my exhaust.i am gonna get different pipes so i can hang them up higher.then i can lower my car without hittin speedbumps.keep on with the suggestions.

I think it looks sweet!
What's the deal with the front plate holder though?
It looks like it has been taken off the back of another camaro?

Yeah, I've been busy, bought the GTO and i hit a deer with the LeMans so I had to fix that (tore up my transmission pan, which gave me the opportunity to put a shift kit in it, i get rubber in all gears now)

Anyways, i lost your number so i can't give you a ring, but mine is 685-0476 and IM name is StacysManMike, if you need help with the car.

I thought Brocks camaro sounded different, don't worry, it will be toast come spring. I will stomp him seeing its a stock LT1.

Yeah, I was going to sell it at the time, but i have so much money and time in it, i would like to finish it and have some fun. The engine is almost paid off and I would like to put a ford 9-inch rear end in it as money provides.

Anyways, I want a ride in that car when I see you next, I beat that car is pretty quick, but I still think the original engine would have been faster.

Planning on going to Cordova next spring provided the engine and rear is broken in. I am shooting for low 12's, so I'll see.

If you know anyone who wants my hood, I am going to sell it, i want a pin on 3-inch cowl hood for clearance reasons. Later

8 to 10 GRAND?????? Do that once, especially since the motor isnt even broken in and you'll be replacing it again.

Heres a tip for ya about your turn signal lenses

Pop them out and spray down the insides of it with some window cleaner.

Grab a long tooth brush and scrub the lense from the inside as best as ya can along with shaking the window cleaner arround.

Wash it out with really hot water

Grab some rubbing compound and start rubbing the hell outta the front of the lense.

After ya do that, get some swirl mark remover and a buffer. Buff the hell outta it..

Cheap way of making them clear again

Other than that man the car looks good

86Street,
You do have a nice car. LottaBalls was talking about the 6th post above. You mentioned a guy told you he doesn't have to shift until 8 or 10 grand. Personally I wouls have to see that first. But LottaBalls was saying if you try that with a 3 week old motor, you will end up replacing it due to it grenading!!

in my opinion i think the rims gotta go. sorry for degrading your car. go with these rims instead, the 92's. i think they'd look nice on yours. https://www.thirdgen.org/rides/ridei...cfrontview.jpg

there seem to b alot of people from peoria here. i would be very much interested in joining some sort of car club, however i dont keep my car down here durning school (its only summer driven and i cant bear to let it sit outside here) I am going to be comming down frequently over the summer since i am leasing an apartment for next year. it would be cool to hang out with so people from the board.

Hey we should start a third gen club for around here. I'd say all v-8's welcomed and 6 cylinders have to be accepted (this due to keeping this wanna be riced out [and badly done one too] Firebird in the club)
I think that would be sweet, all driving around at once and going to cordova 1/4 mile track all together. I know a couple people who would join.

Yeah, and here is another bad camaro.
