I'm contemplating painting my Formula like the GS Vettes and adding the black rims as well. Anyone seen a bird like this or have one? If not, can anyone photo shop one?

I think it would be cool, on a grandsport. But on a Firebird? It's not even the same brand, nevermind the same style of car. Why not put some Boss 302 decals on the side and an R/T badge on the trunk?

I dont see anything wrong with using a Corvette paint pattern on a fbird. Last time I looked it was called customizing.

The Grand Sport paint scheme would be awesome on a fbird.

 

lol don't think for one second Chevy came up with that paint scheme. Racing stripes are as old as cars. There is no reason not to use it. Just keep the GS badges off it

The blue with white strips.. no big deal. Just leave the red hash marks off. Good choice of blue though.

That blue color is what gave me the idea. I have never seen a blue I like more than the one on the GS. I have a black formula now and want to slap some GS rims on it, so the idea came to mind.

As for the slapping 302 stickers statement, I see nothing wrong with using any color scheme and want nothing to do with GS badging or anything like that. Guess your opinion is that if Pontaic didn't make the color, it's a sin to use it. I diasgree. My neighbor has a millenium yellow TA you'd cream your pants over, but i guess it's terrible cause the color came off a vette. Ee=verything out there has been copied and worked over a million times. I'm trying to do something somewhat original and wanted to see if anybody had some pics, thats all.

 

Better tell 86FyrBrd to repaint his car too Jim since that's not even a GM color
