Emboridered Firebird on Custom Hood Blanket!
Just installed a really unique piece of a Custom Hood Blanket. It is made by CAR Motorsports.com and adds a nice pop to the engine compartment when the hood is opened. The black material fells like a rug and the Silver and Red Bird really stands out. The word Formula is also in Silver and the embroidered emblems are done to a high standard. They are pricey, but if you have a show car or just a DD, they say you can wash this material and it will not come apart like the OE blanket.

That does really look good, but after looking at the website, I agree with the "pricey"

Yeah, it's all about if you like it, there is NOBODY else out there making something like this for 3rd Gens. My car is 22 years old and having anything like this custom work is getting customers few and far between that will step up to the plate.

Very cool, but I have a HSR now and I would have to put a hole to clear the TB

The hood insulator is worth every penny. It is an expensive touch but it really shows nicely and people start to see the attention to detail. For me, it was worth it. I will do business with them again. Plus the customer service is great.

Like I said I wish I could, I have to cut the hood support to get it to clear the HSR. Maybe on my next bird or my '97.......
