I couldn't agree more, and IMO, besides black, silver is the best looking color on a thirdgen. Jono's IROC came that color, and it was only available in '85. The '86-up cars had the dark silver, or grey color which I'm not all that fond of. My only question is Why in the HeII didn't GM keep the silver they used in '85??? but anyway, these are the only pics I know of...enjoy!

Zboss86's car:

The car I used to photoshop my wheels on; The Xtreme S-10 look pretty damn good though!

The only thing about this paint is that, it wont shine like black! Nothing shines like black actaully. Thats the only thing keeping me from getting that silver color... but i may change my mind, its quite original

For not being black I'd say that has a nice shine! But black is my absolute favorite color for our cars. BTW those other cars are sweet. I might get some S10 extreme wheels this summer, a guy i know bought one and wants to get some 18's for it and sell me the stock ones. I'm thinkin about it...

Here are a couple of my 82 Z28. Stock color, and if I had kept it, I was going to repaint it Sebring Silver Metallic. I love silver on any sports car. If I didnt love my Maui Blue It would be a toss up, it would either be repainted White, or Silver.. but, I think my 89 Project car is gonna get one of those colors

That's it. The platinum one is a very nice color. The one adam posted looks damn good as well. Silver with some TT2s excellent choice... then again any color with TT2s is a good choice.

Doesn't it look like the hood blisters are farther apart than normal? Or is that just the angle or something?

Yeah...I believe those are hood blisters on a flat hood, like a RS hood or something. They definately arn't the original blisters.

17X 8.5 or 17x9 would be awesome- the bigger and wider the better..and i'm sure they woudlnt' be too expensive

I found the pic of the 91 Z28 w/ the Xtreme wheels on another site. I have no idea whose car it is, or what size the tires the are. The wheels are 16 X 8. They really do look nice on the car though.

I saw a silver thirdgen today that I had not seen in town before. It was silver with dark tint and black lace rims, and that was an awesome combo. I've got to say that thirdgen Camaros are one of the very few cars that I like silver on, but they look SHARP!!

BTW, I agree about those Extreme wheels, they look very sweet!!

The silver Z28 that you are referring to with the Torq Thrust II's is owned by Brad Arsenault. You can check out his site here... http://www.fbody.com/members/brads91z28/ Be warned though....you'll cry when you see what happened to that car!!!! I e-mailed him a couple of months back and he said he was working on another 91 Z28 and was making it everything that the silver one was and then some.
