Read the thread people.
- This month is for STOCK restored, or ORIGNAL survivor Camaros or Firebirds!!!
Vincent's car is very nice but doesn't fit the criteria for this month.

Re: September COTM **Nominations**
He didnt say stock car that came with a L98 and a 5-speed. He said the L98 that is in it is stock, mated to the T5 5-speed.
I vote for Vincent too, but why the change in rules this month?

Stock l98 with a mini ram lol. Every month is a different theme. Vinces car is definitely deserving of cotm. Just funny Don is so quick to nominate it after last month. If he's eligible I put my vote for him too.

Re: September COTM **Nominations**
OK, everyone pretty much knows there were no 350's mated up with 5 speeds from the factory....not a thing wrong with it IMO.
Heck, I was at a local car show, and saw a 92 RS Camaro with a 305 carb "HO" motor in it with the duel snorkle air cleaner....I'm pretty sure a carb'b HO 305 wasn't available in '92....but it looked just like it came that way...kudos to him!!
Just funny how if you go to Thirdgenfest, even aftermarket wheels knocks you out of the "Factory" class. All depends on who is ruling. To me at least, it makes little difference. Either way, lots of nice rides!

Re: September COTM **Nominations**
My mistake...
Another senior moment, I should have read the small print or it should have been in the title. DOH!
Like it was said, why the change this month?
I have been trying to get Vince's pictures for 4 month's.

Re: September COTM **Nominations**
I believe it is because some people have made the comment (in previous COTM nomination threads) that COTM should be theme based so that cars that fall in to "different categories" do not go against each other. I guess it levels the playing field among the cars that make it to the voting thread. If Vincent's car fills the criteria set this month and makes it to the voting thread it will have my vote. I also nominate VincentZ28.

Re: September COTM **Nominations**
Well I'm glad to see that the California boys have got together to help nominate a friend with a nice car, but those that nominated didn't read the first post, as this is strictly for stock, survivor, restored type cars. His wheels and suspension pulled him out this month, but remember to nominate him for a future month.
I apologize, I was so busy getting both my cars ready for the Super Chevy show that I forgot to LOCK this thread on the morning of 8/16 as I said that I would when the nomination period ended.
That being said... Sorry Vincent and the Cali boys that got together to nominate. Try again in a future month. Sorry for everyone else that had to chime in to explain what was going on while I was busy.
