May 2015 COTM **VOTING Thread**

Well... to be honest, with as many outstanding builds that fall into the "Power Adder Category" here on TGO, I would have expected a lot more Nominees to make the Voting Thread this month.

what we do have though is a head to head race between two high-powered street machines:

And we have tough judging to do here too. Both outstanding machines!

Re: May 2015 COTM **VOTING Thread**

Hmm, it doesn't seem fair somehow to compare the 2 machines because 89YJturbo looks like it was meant for the street while Orr89RocZ's machine was built for the strip. Out of respect for the builders how are we, the voters, supposed to do a fair comparison?

Orr89RocZ's car is a street car, it just happens to be really fast.

hopefully before too long, the Nominees will post up more details and pics. then, simply vote for whichever car you like best based off of those pics and technical details...

A street car should be able to corner IMO.
Wide profile 'slicks' in the rear and thin tires in the front is a car that was meant to apply all horsepower in a straight line, which was meant primarily for the strip/track.

I think the slicks were just on there for the drag strip. I believe it has the same front and rear wheels for street.

Linson, spring has come along and the snow has melted. People are too busy tinkering and cruising their cars to be on the computer now.

You are right though, there are way more nice cars than just these 2. Why wasn't whitedevilTA's project PITA nominated? I should have done that.

I saw the vid on youtube where you did 9.1 @155 in Pittsburgh. Very impressive.

No videos for 89JYturbo?

Did you 2 ever race? (This wouldn't determine my vote)

Race our cars together? No. He is building a new setup now. I have been to track for fun as seen in the voting pic. That was at the track
