Kinda new here. I got my first car a few months back. Its a 1988 Firebird Formula. I have done a few little things to it such as the decal on the hood and changing the stereo and adding a wonderbar. I want to keep it mostly original but i do want to add a little bit of customization to it. Just wondering what you guys think

I just have the stock exhaust system. I have considered changing it, but i don't know yet. I like the way it sounds right now.
And sorry i am still new to learning about how cars work and such so some of this stuff i am not so sure of. I'm taking a class on automotive so hopefully i will know more about this. XD

Car looks really good. I've always loved the two toned Formulas. One thing to consider to improve the look...The front fenders. It appears the car has been incorrectly jacked in the past. There is a flange under the car, behind the front wheels, that the front fender bolts to, that should be up and down. Incorrect jacking will bend the flange horizontal to the ground and causes the fender to bow out further than the door. Carefully knock the flange back into place and the fender bow out will minimize. For finer tuning, loosen the bolts after the flange is straightened, adjust the fender to flush with the door, then tighten her up. It's these little details that will make the car just *pop*
If it were my car, the very first thing I'd do would be to install a set of lowering springs to close the tire to fender gap. Next would be a nice exhaust system to give it a nice, deep and throaty exhaust rumble. To me, that's one of the most important must haves when you own a muscle car. Then I'd tint the windows.
Oh... you might wanna look into getting your spoiler repaired or replaced. It appears to be cracked on the right-side corner. If it's the factory one, it probably is all cracked and stuff on the top-side as well. If it's an aftermarket factory one, it'll be made of fiberglass and you'll be able to get that crack repaired.
Very nice car! Id get some black crosslace rims, install a 3.42 or 3.73 gear and posi unit if it doesn't have one, a 3in exhaust system, then get a chip to get rid of the speed limiter and give you a lil more power. I always liked that color scheme your car has. Good luck.
