What would YOU pay for a calendar?

For what it's worth, I've initiated discussions with a local printing shop.
I've requested a quote for 50 -100 units with pictures selected from the COTM postings above.
I have no idea what to expect and am not committed to anything other than this preliminary investigation.

Just for reference - another forum I’m on sells calendars each year and they’re $16 with $3 shipping.
It’s a second-gen Camaro forum (NastyZ28.com). Members submit pics of their cars and then everyone gets to vote for their favorites. The top 12 get the big month pictures but they also use some of the other submitted pics for smaller areas throughout the calendar.

^^^
That sounds like a very resonable price and also a cool idea to pic. Or just go with the previous years COTM winners. I’d definitely be in for around that price.

Re: What would YOU pay for a calendar?
I haven't heard from the printer however I will keep the price point and ideas in mind.
Seems to me the best notion would be of the entire year of COTM winners. Voted on by whoever cared to vote and it's probably the best representation of 3rd gens anywhere.
Stay tuned and keep the replies coming.
EDIT: I would also think that the best deal would be had from a forum member that has ties with this type of project. If not, I'll pursue it as far as is reasonable and report back with results.

I appreciate the female form as much as the next guy but seeing as we HAVE pictures already, that sort of uncomplicates things. Uncomplicates being the operative word here.

Re: What would YOU pay for a calendar?
I think the price would need to be at or under $20, including shipping. Once you pass $20 you begin to reach the point where members could just hop on a calendar making website themselves and make their own personalized Thirdgen calendar.

Re: What would YOU pay for a calendar?
Fair enough.
I have no idea what to expect although I suspect that the simpler I make the availability of the pictures, i.e. give them ready to go digital images, the cheaper the outcome.
I'm guessing I'll hear back sometime at the beginning of the week.
Remember too that I'll have to deal with cross border shipping costs. That could be a deal breaker right there.

Re: What would YOU pay for a calendar?
maybe an official thirdgen.org calendar? we can vote on the cars/pictures going into it like we do with COTM.
off topic but it would also be cool if thirdgen.org had a store page where members could buy t shirts and stuff and have the money go to supporting the forum. I have no idea how this sites financial stuff works but I'd be glad to spend my money on it

Re: What would YOU pay for a calendar?
I just ordered one through our Michigan F-Body (MIFB) forum a few days ago.
https://www.mifbody.com/forums/forum...fbody-calendar
Years past, we've asked for submissions, then voted on the 12 best. This year, photos from past MIFB annual Meet & Greet events were used.
They are printed through Zazzle. You pick the size/format, upload the picks, and they make them available for purchase. No one has to front any money, or deal with mailing them. Zazzle handles it all. About $22 shipped this year, using a discount on the order page.
