What do you think about this custom WS6 badge?
I made this to fill the hole in my 91 Camaro rocker panel that I have on my 86 Trans Am.
It was red on the computer, but turned pink when I printed it.
What do you think? good or not good?

Since it didn't seem like too much a problem to print the first one out... try again
I think a nice deep red one will look better.
You're painting your car black if memory serves, right?
[edit: forgot to answer the question, YES it looks good

Ya, my car is a WS6.
I am painting the car Silver, so the badge might be silver.
I don't know if I am going to paint the ground effects black or the same color as the car.

Look real good. You might want to consider getting some sheet aluminum and paint them on. Cut the aluminum to shape and paint the background first, then use glossy decal paper in your printer to make an outline of your logo, and cut out the areas you want to paint with an exacto knife. Place the decal on the emblem and spray paint your logo on. After it dries, remove the decal and clearcoat the emblem. Then use as is or place under a plastic cover. I did this with the IROC emblems for my '88, and will put them on when I paint the car next year. They came out great.

I would reccomend painting the ground effects the same color as the car, it makes it look newer. you don't see too many new cars with dual tone paint jobs, I guess its out of style or something. If you're going with silver, might I suggest chrysler paltinum, it looks sweet on FlyinLow89's ride.
BTW, the WS6 badge looks good, looks factory.

Zepher,
I think that the badges look good. I noticed them in the wheel post too.
As long as everybody is talking about your paint job. If you are going to get the car repainted do whatever you want. I think the way it is with the maroon/black combo gives it a lot of character and makes it stand out.

Jesse

I'd definately say make the ground effects the same color, and make the badge a more subdued color. WIth silver paint, I'd make a dark silver or black logo. I'd paint it instead of print it too.

If I remember correctly... I believe Zepher is going with the same color as FlyinLow chysler platnium? Correct? Or a different silver. I had thought I saw you mention that in the firebird post.

Nothing wrong with two-tone paint (my 'vert is), but I do prefer body-colored GFX. Just looks nicer.
They're ROH wheels. I have pics, but they're not on the web anywhere (well, they are but they can't be reached yet). There's one in the reader's rides you can look at, though. Just look under my name.

Also, does ROH wheels have a website?
Sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn some new things here.
Thanks!

I am going to go with Flyinlow89's color, platinum.
Thanks for all the ideas on the badges.
Blue502, can you email me pics of your badges that you made so I can see how good they look?
I am about to post some pics of the car with better shots of the wheels and everything.

Now I have seen a two-tone where the lower color was only a slight bit darker than the upper color (ie, silver and smokey silver), but still in the same color family, and that looked pretty good. But I think I'd still go with a solid color.

I am ver fond of black ground effects, I don't know why, but I think it looks pretty good.
This is going to be a hard decision, all silver or silver and black.
Car is going to have Black accents on it, maybe a black spoiler and Ram Air bulge might be black as well. Also, Black Mirrors.
I don't know yet, gotta get to work with photoshop and see what I like.
