I haven't seen anything from Ron U.S.M.C in maybe a few years. Hope all is well

 

Maybe in the future it needs to be a rule that they nominated person should have been active in the last ??? months.

Most likely we will not get a detailed description of the car or history of the car.

That is the part I like reading on COTM.

Agreed. I reached out via PM some time back, but never received a reply.

 

The car is a 89 Formula with an LS1 swap from 01 camaro. Stock with bolt ons with a Harwood hood. I've owned the car for 5 years, still has a 9 bolt 3.27 gears in the back, LS1 front brake upgrade and stock disc brakes in the back as well welded Umi boxed subframe under the car. Don't plan on touching the car its great to just have fun with it at the dragstrip or going to car shows with it. I'm no stranger to original stock third gens I owned 4 stock third gens before this one so it was a nice change up to go the modified route.

 

No rules needed. It is the role of COTM Editor to identify and iron out these issues prior to voting. Can be done knocking door to door, structuring the event so non-active users are unlikely to be nominated, and even make substitutions if necessary.

 

i do reach out to each nominated member via PM before each and every month's voting goes live. it is a balance in terms of trying to run this monthly and have everyone nominated "responsive"... so far the vast majority of nominees have been responsive as COTM is a great recognition

 

Yep, sometimes it just doesn't work out. I had that experience too. That's when I threw in substitutions from past players. It made their day too!

Ok sorry for the delay but hear ya go with a little info on my iroc.
EXTERIOR : paint is a custom mix metal flake really dark gray with red hockey stick stripes. Wheels and tires are polished boyds 18x8 275/40 and 18x7 245/45. eibach prokit springs ,spaghetti engineering sequential taillights, projector headlights in the front and clear parking lights, harwood 2.5 inch cowl induction hood,

INTERIOR : seats out of a 2001 camaro custom upholstered in red and ostrich black inserts, b&m megashifter, billet specialties steering wheel, autometer pillar gauges, alpine head unit , kicker amp, infinity kappa 6x9 and 4x6 speakers, 8 inch ct sounds custom sub enclosure in side storage compartment , new carpet and custom two toned door panels.

ENGINE : 305 T.P.I underdrive pulleys, headers, flowmaster catback, polished tpi unit, if it could be polished or painted it is under the hood.

Thats all i can think of off hand . Sorry i didn't get to it sooner being self employed limits you free time...
