Guys/Gals, I currently have the 3 below cars. 1991 Formula 350 (77K miles), 1989 5.7 Iroc (brand new 350 motor) and 1990 5.7 G92 (89K miles) Iroc. I LOVE all of the cars, but I really need to get rid of one of them. I have an offsite 2 car garage that will fit 3 cars if I place one on dollies, but it is getting old moving one around all of the time, so I am telling myself that I need to let one go. Just looking on input/opinions. In the end it is my decision, but it is way more difficult that I thought it would be.....
1989 Iroc is not original, but I just had a motor built for it, so it is a great running car.
1991 Formula is the cleanest car, but needs a couple of things (headlight motor is bad and needs the front bumper painted from spider cracking), nothing major. I do have an offer from someone on this car for $14k.
1990 Iroc is a car I just bought, and I look forward to getting it back to top condition.
I would keep the Camaros and sell the Formula, especially since you have a good offer on it already. Anyone paying that price will take good care of it too.
Of course this is largely because I prefer the Camaros over the Formulas. The nice thing about keeping the Formula and selling a Camaro is you would still have one of each type.
They all really at beautiful cars, would be good to keep them all. Prices for these, ALL cars really, is pretty insane. So value wise you should be good keeping them for awhile and not losing $. Maybe keep the Pontiac and 1 Iroc, that way you have 1 of each. Your in Indiana, so I say swing done with the 'Bird to the TA Nats this August. That will get you in the Firebird fever, so will keep the Pontiac. Then look at the Irocs and after you decide that you can't pick a fav for color and condition, keep both them as well.
Start driving them on nice days, see what ones you draw to more.
Well I mean I think this is really the coke or pepsi discussion. No right answers, only opinions. But it's still a fun exercise, right!? For ME.....I'd keep the 89 and the Formula. That red and black accents on the metallic red paint is probably one of my top 3 color combos ever on a thirdgen, and you just don't see many Formulas these days, and I've always loved them. Again, the color...with the tan over green. Gorgeous. -and no disrespect to the white G92 at all.....just when put up against the other two.....no question.
If it was me, I'd keep one that was fully functional and ready to drive, and one to work on as a project. In other words, I'd sell the 89 IROC or the 91 Formula, and keep the 90 IROC so I could turn wrenches on the weekend.
I think this is what you'd call "an embarrassment of riches."
$14K for the Formula? What's the mileage? I've got a full garage, but if you were selling at that price and I had space, I'd be very tempted.
Thanks everyone. You all have helped..... The formula has 77K miles and the offer is there for $14k, but I don't know that I am up for accepting it. I honestly did not post this to show off the cars, I actually almost didn't post for that very reason. I did want the input to help sway me or solidify my thinking. I had a C5 Vert that I sold last month, and thought "ok, now I am good, down to 2 cars", then the NEXT day a guy, 20 miles from me, put up the 90 Iroc, and wanted $14k for it. I told him I'd give him $11k, thinking he would never take it for such a nice car, but he did, so I had to buy it. My gut tells me to keep the Formula and the 89 Iroc (since I just sunk a bunch into having the motor built and color), and letting the 90 go, even though it is a last year car with dual cats and the G92 package. This really is a sickness....which I know you all understand!

Abubaca, yes, it is fun and sickening all at the same time.....

Bovine - This is a very valid point also, which has also been a part of my thought process.....
I'd keep the Formula, and the 89, but first and foremost, I'm a Pontiac guy. I have a storage problem too. I'm getting ready to buy the twin to my vert, and I'm going to either have to start putting what I have sideways in my steel building or buy a lift, which I have the height to do.
That being said, I would let one of the IROCs go. You already have one, then you'ld have a bird also. (And you remember what they say about, "A bird in the hand?")
If it were me, I'ld dump the white one. I kinda like colored cars, rather than blank ones. (But hey, that's just me)
The correct answer is, which two cars do you like the most?
or
Which two of the three are the rarest to find these days?
If its me, I'm keeping the white IROC and the Formula. As someone mentioned already,, it gives you one of each.. I'm not even a firebird fan either when it comes to 3rds. It looks great however.
