well i work for the Bank of New York in the stock department. and i am only 20. If you go down to e-town you will see me there every week startin in april. Right now my car is A candy apple red with a camelion cowl hood and ground effects. it looks sweet. i am planing on getting a kit for my car by x-mas this year. The baer brakes is the only thing i am having a problem with right now, i need to pay off the engine then worry about stopping. But they will be in by april. Hey if ya got AIM find me on there twiztidz28. see ya around.

I agree!!! We need to have a mini gathering, especially since the weather is SO nice at the momnet.

Where is Garfield in respect to Morristown?

There are a few places up here. I know of one called robbies, they mainly do insurance work, you will have to call, they get swaped in the winter. Another place up here (i forget the name) has nice cars there all the time. Finish line auto also does good work mainly older cars. I can't remember if its just mechanical stuff, but the owner is a good guy.

It's about 45 minutes east of Morristown. I wanted to know this as well. I've been looking for a nice body shop for a while now, and I am getting to the point of just going to a maaco.

Also I started to read about frame straightening, how does a shop go about doing this, and how screwed up does your frame have to be? I was also thinking that this would weaken your frame, but as you can see I know absolutely nothing about this.

Well to answerthe question about how far garfield is from morristown its about 30 mins. I make it to parsippany every morning in 20 mins. And about Macco I would rather have my dad paint my car again. He is not the best sprayer but he is an excelent body and fender guy. I am really starting to look now so I can talk to the owners of the shops and get a feal for the place before i put my car in there next winter. I don't want no jerkoffs beating the hell out of my car. Expecially since I have the new motor and blower on there. I know its not a lot of money in the car now but $hit that thing is goin to be close to a 10 second beast that is goin to be driven everyday. Well a gathering would be great, I just can't take my 3rd gen till April at least. But when I do I'm goin to be at e-town at least 2 times a week. Most likely Wednesday and the weekend. Well anyone that has AIM and wants to talk about anything besides homos. Find the link at the bottom.

I got mine painted at Ryans Auto Body in Ocean Township, NJ. They are expensive, but it came out absolutley flawless. But hey... you get what you pay for, right?

Dude i have always like your car in the prowler orange you got. I was actually thinkin on doin my car that color but i can't crimp no ones style. You have a awesome lookin 3rd gen by far my fav bird i have ever seen no matter what year. Are you goin to e-town at all this year. I would really like to talk to you about that place where you got your car done. like price and time and all those good things. I won't mind drivin to pa to get it done if it comes out half as good as yours.

I want to make a LOT of appearences this coming season so hopefully I will make E-town atleast once whether I actually run the car or not.

Even if I dont make E-town I will be in Wildwood at the big show over Mothers Day weekend in May. Hopefully I will be in the show, depends on the rules, they say 78 and older but there is always newer stuff in it. But even if Im not in the show. Drive around the town sometime that weekend, Im sure you'll see me somewhere.

I know a lot of people are fans of my car so whenever I go to a show I will try and let some people know on here.

86FyrBrd, If your car looks that good in the pictures t must look better in person. If they do jobs that good all the time it would be well worth the drive down there. Just out of couriosity how much did that run you around. Cause i would need most of the paint stripped just on the doors cause the back and front are going to be all plain. I'm gonna be getting a fiberglass bodykit and need it put on and painted. I was thinking a wild green color or maybe a midnight blue since you took my orange idea or I'll just go with the Lamborghini Diablo VT orange I like that color and its a lil differnet then yours.
