Yep, thats right.. the damn thing is back on the road and terrorizing the locals. Muhahahahaha!

So, I now have a rebuilt tranny (Thanks Crusader) heavy comp shift kit, B&M Holeshot 2200-2400 stall TC, and to round out my B&M goodies, a new B&M Megashifter. I also went ahead and put a Energy Suspension Trans mount under it as well. The shifter was by no means a "bolt on" I put my drill and dremel thru alot of work on that install, but, its all bolted up and works great, ratcheting shifts I give a big thumbs up! Ive yet to go WOT yet, and I got sideways into 2nd on accident on the road test *insert evil grin here*

But, here are a couple pics of before, during, after.

Me removing the trans pan from the blown tranny, its hard to tell, but that is metal flakes in cooked fluid(which only had about 20 miles on it).

Stock VS B&M Megashifter

Looks sad doesnt it?

Blown Tranny (TC look stock to you guys?)

The Aluminum Driveshaft

Shifter in Place, its clean now!

So, whatcha guys think?

Looks good, and glad to hear the car is running again. Have you thought about putting the shifter handle at an angle, it fits the hand better.

Yeah, its at more of an angle now, and its clean too. Im thinking about replacing the shift boot with a leather one, I dont really like the rubber too much.

Ahh, whoops, its the B&M Transpak with the "heavy comp" kit... I need to adjust the TV cable a bit more I think, but today I was out driving it around and accidently got 2nd gear chirp next to two older ladies walking dogs... and it really WAS an accident.

Ha! Its just a bird chirping. I thought old ladys like birds? Say how hard was it to put that shifter in there and how much was it. As far as I know they are around 140? Something like that. I was thinking about getting one for my ride. Also I herd some rumors that when you first install it its kinda hard to get out of park but after a month it lossens up. Did you have any trouble like that?

It wasnt as easy as I figured it would be, and even though the shifter was made for "1982-1992" F-bodys, it was still more of a "universal" thing, I think the only thing that makes it a 82-92 shifter is the plate its self.. lol. Also in the instructions it says it wont work fro 88-92 Formula's.. I couldnt figure out why though.

Anyways, I havent had any problems gettig it out of park, but Im still getting used to it.
