zr-1's will they fit?

i told my friend i was consider'n some chrome 17" zr-1 rims. he told me he would have got em but he heard that they don't just bolt up, u gotta have some spacers or do some modification. i have seen some 3rd gens w/ em just wondering what u guys did to get em to fit? or is this not true at all?

get 2" spacers for all 4 wheels if they are 17x9

i checked out those spacers, looks like ur wheel will sit farther out of the wheel welland look funny. i don't really want to mess w/ spacers. I'm gonna go w/ those aftermarket 17" chrome iroc rims i think.

It "looks" like the wheel will stick out, but it wont. The spacer is 2" thick, but the backspacing on the ZR1 wheels is about 2" differant than the old wheels, so it all evens out.

where are u getting the chrome irocs from, i to was thinking about useing spacers but the new engine and mods is going to pu tout somewhere between 500 and 650hp so i dont want to have my rims help on by spacers.

actually i seen them on this site, it was in a convo. in one of the message boards. i looked at the site a guy reccomended too. they had iroc's in 16",17" and 18" chromed. i can find the link sometime for ya.

this is the site-http://www.aaarims.com/index.html go to product catolog and select ur yr. and make n model, they have OEM replica's for iroc's. i'm gett'n the chrome 17"x8" irocs.
