headlight covers
Anyone seen headlight covers like these? I got this pic from the board years ago. I can't seem to find these. I like the idea of not losing the light wells. If anyone has an idea let me know. Thanks

I had seen your covers before Kev when i was looking through a old posts about covers. They look good. I was gonna PM you about your subs in the trunk. Do you get very good bass out of that box? Having the box on an angle helps but there is so little transfer space under the vert lid. I would think even worse with top down. Also are the 6x9s in the rear stock spekers or did you custom fit those? The 91 and 92 camaros only take the 6.5s due to some extra braces.

Twist,
I am very pleased with the bass they produce and how well they play even with the top down. I was debating a lot before I bought them as a lot of people said it would be a waste. I don't know what they had tried, but this works very well.
I don't have 6x9's in the rear side panels, I have 6.5"s. It was originally 5x7's if my mind serves me - and the earlier cars had the extra braces in there as well.

Ah okay... I thought I had read on your site that you had 6x9s in the rear. Guess I miss read. Thats cool to hear though. I think I might pass on the subs and just convert the interior to 6x9s in the rear and and 6.5 into the kick panels. i dont like overpowering bass

yup... speakers do weigh you down... but amp, 6x9s and 6.5s minus 6.5s in the rear is less than sub box, subs, amps, and such.

Re: headlight covers
kev, I really like those headlights covers. What did you make them out of and what did you use to tint them?
