I cant decide which car I want more. A TTA or a ram air Firebird. Two of the sweetest Firebirds ever made. Its a hard choise IMO. Of course I'm a Pontiac man, but who cares!!
Nice car.

Yes, I used to have a black 87 Iroc, it was pretty sweet. It was modified with a fiberglass hood, 92 z28 wing, flowmaster exhaust w/ custom tips, and custom "GN" look alike interior. There is a few clips of some burnouts and donuts in the movies section... I'll get some TTA movies up sometime soon! I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this TTA, I had to sell the 'roc.

So Murt, give us some details.
What's the mileage, any mods? and if you don't mind, how much $$$ did it cost you?
TTA's are awesome, since I also have one that's speaking from experience, not just pure Lust
But the downside to them is that they do all look the same
+ or - the decals and 2 options.
Just wondering if anything special done to yours

Hey turbo TA, my TTA has 115k on it, with a Rebuilt motor at 96k and a new tranny and turbo at 105k miles. I got this car in a deal of a lifetime, I had an 87 Iroc at the time, and I saw this TTA just sitting in a parking lot, so after a week or so of seeing this TTA all alone at night, I decided to do something a bout it! I went down during the day and found the owner of it. He was a rich lawyer who got the TTA for a graduation present in 91, he didn't know what he had. I asked him if he wanted to sell it, and he said "yeah, I just haven't got around to advertising yet." I guess he took it to jiffy lube, they put on the wrong filter and it blew the engine. He had everything replaced and then it just sat for about a year, then he moved it to his office. Thats when I saw it. So, I gave him a few days to come up w/ a price, and he said "I checked out the book value, and its about 5700". I nearly shat my pants right there , and I swindled him down some more. 3 days after that I picked it up for under 5 grand, sold my iroc for 4500 to my buddy, and then I was on boost.

I've had my car for 3 years and it has the following mods:
Te-44 turbo, 42 lb injectors, THDP w/ dump, ATR stainless 3" exhaust, hot wired fuel pump, Nitto 555r drag radials, Macewen white face gauges, 3 gauge pillar w/ phatom series gauges, stainless brake lines, K an N cone, custom Joe L. Chips, and I put in a stereo.:lala:
I also have the owners kit w/ the decals and the stock exhaust tips. So thats it, ever since then i've been on boost!

I run high 11's at 117 MPH at the track on race gas. I plan on putting in a power plate and an alky injection kit when I get some funds.

Heck Yes, you stole it.
That would be sweet actually having one that's driveable and not having any value/originallity/stock/mileage concerns.
Mine has low enough miles that I'm picky about getting it out much. (Too many idiots out there that can't drive)
They are pretty cool cars, and even more fun when you run up against someone who's cocky and hasn't got a clue about what a TTA is
I would love to be able to have one like that to drive every day.
Those 3.8's are awesome engines by themself, I 've seen many of them with 200-300k on them and still running good with no major problems.(Non-Turbo)
You could paint it black , no badges and have a Killer Sleeper of a GTA (just one of my silly ideas if I was Rich and foolish)
