Anyone know of any good body kits?

Hola all! I have an 89 GTA, 5.7 350. Looking to spice up the exterior a bit. I hate keeping anything stock on anycar I own (so all you diehard guys better just move on). Please advise if there are any out there... I know about the EVO and EVO II kits, I'm actually buying another third gen to get the EVO II kit for, but any that enhance the exterior of a GTA?

Agreed, at least for the Firebird, Camaros have a nice one, but still I would only put that on a SC. Not too mention the price is too high.

I wrecked my 91 z28 on friday and it needs a whole front doghouse. How about that for you Evo car to convert then it would have the performance to back up the look. Email me if you are interested pics are here . The link isn't working at my house but it did on another computer today so I hope it works for you guys.

I just love defending myself!!!!!

Okay guys... I told you if you don't like what I'm doing, just leave me alone. I BOUGHT the car and thats it!

I'm sorry about the post if its been done before, I'm like brand new to this site and really am learning my way around.

The turbo kit looks nice, I'm definitely thinking about it if I could find it...

No offense guys, but if what I'm doing doesn't appeal to you, sorry but just STFU and leave me alone! I have no problem with people who wanna drive down a street in a bone stock looking car or rattle the windows of the neighborhood with the sound of their exhaust, but its just not me. I LIKE TO MODIFY things to stand out. I'm actually in the process of painting the whole GTA the color of the Shelby Mustang GT500 in the move Gone in Sixty Seconds , and I KNOW that is gonna make some guys crazy!!!!!

I really like that turbo kit too. The back part kinda looks like your making it into a dually.

Hey by the way, i agree with you man, its your car, and if someone doesn't like what your doing to it, thats their problem. Putting a kit on an old third gen isn't a crime against humanity, there's plenty of em around yet. Now, doing something like making a dual rear axle camaro... that just don't fly. Just my 2 cents.

I would like to do some exterior mods too. But it'd be hard with the firebird, guess I gotta learn to fabricate. I gotta get some kinda ground effects though, cause sometimes I look at it and I think, wow that looks kinda like a boat. No offense. I love my car, it's just from the right angle without the ground effects, eh..... But from other angles it looks better without the ground effects. The 91 effects look a little too spacy for me though.

The turbo kit looks pretty cool. I sure would enjoy that extra space in the wheel well.

Would definitely need enough wheel to fill those fenders. I don't know, it's kinda nice, but then.......hmmm. I know I don't like the thing on the doors though.

Maybe you can try to put the 91-92 Z28 body kit on a TA, Ive never herd or seen it but it would probaly look good. Also will it fit? Ive never owned a ta, just camaros and just guessing the side skirts would fit just fine but not so sure about the front and back.

Being the owner of a nice GTA, I've considered body changes for some time. About the only thing I could force myself to do is a different hood and maybe a fourth-gen wing. Even the Z28 high-rise wing on my GTA would be a little too far. My current thought is just a fiberglass replacement spoiler for the back and I think it's called the daytona hood (I can't remember what it's called, but it look pretty sweet & not just another RAII)

But in all honesty....if you've got a decent GTA and want to change the body....sell it. Take the dough from that collector car and go buy a trashed out trans am or firebird. The mod the body all you want to. At least this way nobody will get too offended and many will actually like it.
