I was sorting through my photos and came across this sweet photo of one of the first thirdgen get togethers in a state park in PA. I know it doesnt fit with the topic of the board. It was cool to have so many thridgens together.

I wish I was driving in 1982-1992( or thinking of cars) so I could of seen a bunch of brand new thirdgens at the dealerships
I think I would just hang out at the dealership with a coke and walk around all day as if it were a car show.

I have to agree with D_rtis, i'd probably get kicked out of the dealership for setting up my lawn chair and hanging out. Maybe getting my picture taken with a row of thirdgens Hey, at least i wouldn't need a Rpo decoder to find out their options!

I cant remember the state park it was in but it was REALLY hard to find. I am glad i ran into the caravan of 7 or so sitting on the side of the road looking at a map. I dont know how many people are still on the boards. I know RobP is, but not sure if he remembers the state park. it is beautiful though. I just loved when the state park police told us to move our cars cause we were stopping traffic into the park.

There's going to be a Camaro show in Carlisle,PA on June 14-16, it was posted on the Mid-Atlantic board, I'm going to try my hardest to go, anyone else going, we could always meet up there or something.

I'll be going to Carlisle. The fairgrounds are like 3 miles from my house. That would be sweet if we'd all meet up for it.

yeah, we had a mini-version of that the other day. 7-8 thirdgens at the Central Illinois Third Gens meeting.

 

I would love to do another get together in that same state park, it is kind of difficult place to find. I wish I still kept in touch with some of the people there.

I think it would be cool to do a meet up at carlise. Maybe we can do something among all the craziness. I wish my car was in good enough shape to show.
