I've got a set for my car. You will need spacers. I don't have any pictures 'cause my car is sortof out of commission at the moment and I've only got one wheel mounted (to test fitment).

I've been considering mounting some chrome "salad shooters" on my car. I've seen a guy around my town with a 3rd Gen Camaro that has em on, and it looks pretty sweet..

They are 16x8, so are you SURE you need spacers for them?

Don't they have the same bolt pattern?

I didn't think you needed spacers for em...

You do need spacers, they may be 16x8 and the same bolt pattern but back spacing is the issue. I don't think the wheels look bad at all, even with spacers they are pretty cheap too. You can pick up a set for less than $100 any day of the week.

Good point! That was my thinking... My rims are it good shape but don't match since the paint job, and since these are a good value right now plus I can use existing tires. I think the salad shooters look sharp. Then with already having the spacers I can be ready when a great deal on 17" comes up.

One option is buy a 4th gen rear so that all you need is one pair of spacers for the front wheels.
Instead of spending the $160 for the rear spacers, use that $160 towards a 4th gen rear with 3.42 gears and disc brakes.
That is what I did.

I would like to thank ZEPHER for giving me the idea to blow all my money on the rear end insted of spacers. the only thing I would mention it you nee just more than the rear end. You need to get:

1. rear end

2. calipers

3. brake pads

4. roters

5. disc brake proportioning valve

6. e-brake cable

7. if you get differant gears in the rear end you need to new spedomometer gear.

8. spacers for the front

other things:

9. 2 universial joints

10. chrome lug nuts

11.locking lug nuts

12. rear-end gear grease

just remember, not a cheap set up. But thanks to ZEPHER and all the other who have helped along the way. I will be installing all this stuff on Saturday.
