The gauges are autometer phantoms. I made the dash where they mount out of aluminum and painted it black.

I take it that's the 5 inch gauges you are using for tach ans speedo?

That's what I'm going to do to my car too.

Yeah, they are 5 inches. RMK, if you have any questions, just let me know and I will try and help you.

Yeah, I just spliced into the factory harness. I did not cut any wires though, I used connectors that do not cut the wire, they just go through the insulation.

Very clean and very sweet gauge setup. Could you give us a run down of the AutoMeter part #'s How hard was the install? Where did you get the sheet of aluminum at?

Tim, I'll hold you to that offer of help when I get mine sorted out. Got a few other tings I need to get fixed first, namley my MAF and PROM.

Now all that's left to do is get that new speedo of yours to read off the scale

These numbers are the Jegs numbers. The speedo is #105 5889. Tach is #105 5898. Oil pressure gauge #105-5721.
Fuel gauge #105-5714. Water temp #105-5737. And finally the voltmeter is #105-5791. For the aluminum, I cut a piece off of a wrecked Peterbilt truck that my dad has. The wings behind the sleepers are made out of aluminum, so I just cut a big piece out, then cut it to fit the dash and gauges and painted it black. If you guys have any more questions, just ask.

Tim
