I saw a trick a guy pulled with his headliner with cardboard about a month ago. i am thinking of doing a custom set of door panels sometime between now and the end of the summer where I intend to make bow-tie cut-outs and placeing them on the top center section of the door panel and carpeting the bottom. I will keep you updated if and when I get it done.

And the passenger door panel, sorry about the angle, the car was in storage and its the best pic I can get right now.
I'm gonna redo the door panels with flames under a layer of gray fabric that matches my seats.
Here's a pic of what the "look" will be like:

Here's a pic of a flame using three different types of fabric so I could see how they would lay...

Drivers' side door panel all torn up:

New foam added:

And this is the latest on what the flames will look like:

Unfortunately I folded up the fabric and now it's got wrinkles and creases so I'm done for the night. Hopefully I can borrow an iron to iron it out, or the creases will just fall out overnight.
Whaddya think?

thx
AHH! That's EXACTLY WHAT I'M DOING! **Not at this moment** But when the car gets painted with the ghost flames... I'm getting a sticker on my windshield that says CAMARO in the middle and has flames on either side... then i'm putting flames on my door panels and headliner... also flames in the back on the amp box.. THAT LOOKS AWESOME MAN!
if you get a set of transam door panels, also make sure to get the armrest brackets that are riveted to the interior door shell from the donor vehicle. they are a little different than the standard firebird/camaro brackets.
