there was an el camino with the 'maro front clip at a dealer by me. i never stopped and looked at it, but one day it was by the street with its hood open and it had tpi. it was there for atleast 3 monthes, dont know if it still is, havent been down that way in a while. as for my thoughts, it was, ummm..............different

 

wow this got pretty far off topic. since you plan on getting rid of the car any way, just do it, i would! who knows it just might come out cool
