Has anyone ever adapted the t-top roof console to a hardtop? If so could I see pics and maybe how you did it?

the t-top model is striaght whereas the hardtop model is curved. My quess is that you might be able to just move the console further back or somthing.

the hardtop headliner is curved and the top console is flat so you'll need to do something about that to get it on there.

I know the differences between the two I also have an idea for making it work but I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried/done it before.

Try the following link: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=99782

After seeing all the differences in the two types of consoles, I'd say converstion would be difficult.

Well I still think its possible and I don't think it will be near impossible to do. If I ever get it done I'll see about posting pics for you guys to see it.

As I'm sure you'd agree, when all's said and done, the easiest and best solution (to avoid a possible hatchet job) is to simply pick up the console appropriate to your car. Good luck. Please do post the pics.

It would be eaisy to adapt the hard top to a ttop car but the other way would require quite some work to get it done properly. I finally got mine installed a few weeks back I love it because its worthlessly cool to have. I only use it to hold my cell phone and wallet in the sunglasses pouch. And keep a tab on when my last oil change was.

Who would want to do something if it were easy? Hum, ah, well, hell, that would be me.
