Protecting the dash?
What do you guys recommend, to keep my dash from cracking/fading? I'm having nightmares about it! Here's what I had before, and an after one -
Also, I've got a TINY crack on the driver's corner. Any ideas on how to fix it?

dont know about fixing the crack but, I've been using clear guard, i think its made by turtle wax on my dash pad...which came out of my 85 SC after its total and now sits in its new home in the IROC...no warps or cracks.
i would probably get some adhesive to try and keep it from cracking any further. A good body shop may have some sort of repair kit, or a good parts store, not a discount one, but an honest to *** auto parts store..like napa

The old dash had a carpet on it, so I don't want that way... I heard some stuff called "Black Magic" interior works well?

IIRC the problem with armor all is it has petroleum based components and no ability to protect from UV. Petroleum agents can actually break down certain plastics...

At my detail shop we use either "Clear Supreme" or "Black Magic". Armour All will work in a pinch but it seems to collect dust rather past and does not retain it's shine as long.
Also avoid excessive parking in direct sunlite, tint your windows to reduce sunlite and keep the dash pad moist with some kind of protectant. Never let it get to totally dry.
And Finally get rid of that steering wheel. The "Block" as I call it is so ugly. Go for the leather wrapeed OEM and you will be buch happier. I changed mine and it made my whole interior look much better.
