I used the GM touch up paint available at any local auto store for mine......has held up pretty good...

I used original gm touch up paint in Pewter. It sticks real well, no problem.

did you guys spray the carpets the dash and the seats with that stuff or what cuz i want to change my carpet and seat colors along with all the dash pieces?

Can't tell from the pictures... but did you guys sand all the plastic so it was as smooth as glass, or did you just leave the plastic alone? Did you use a primer?

I don't think I'd do it in my car, either, but all those pictures look like the dash panels really shine!

Well here is what i did............
  • Wash panels with soap
  • Spray 2 coats
  • Spray 2 coats of clear coat

all i used was off the shelf acrylic
wiped the pieces with panel wipe
then used a primer coat then 2 top coats its lasted about 4 years

hey prime u want yellow seat covers to match the interior like camarostud. i got a pair from the el camino and they are in great condition and i will even clean em. only 20 bucks. i paid twice that for em. anywho i like the looks of the painted stuff but am afraid to do it to my car.

spartyon: Cool, are they just like Camarostuds? I am very interested. My stock seats are trashed and the ones on them now are about shot as well, I just can't decied what kinda seats I want. lol

the seat covers i got were form auto zone,like 100 for em both,a rip off,but a gift so its all good,its all temporary, im doing most of the itnerior in glass and **** soon, itll b sweet

they are the exact same ones as his. i got them for 40 bucks both at autozone and they are in great to excellent condition i will even give them a here ya go clean up. 20 bucks still have the original bags they came in to. pm me if u want
