Glue. Seats some out with a 13 or 14mm socket. 4 nuts on each front seat, 1 bolt holds each rear seat bottom, and there is 1 nut on both sides of the rear seatback(s), at the bottom. You also need to take off the seatbelt retainers (Front = screwdriver, Rear =T??? Torx) Not sure what size Torx, but its small.

Ooops, my bad, I didnt even think about the floor mounted part
I was talking about the guide that is on the front seat. The bottom belt reel is attached using a T45, T50, or T55 torx bit, not sure which one, but its a big one.

My carpet wasn't held in by any glue-or none that caused any problems pulling it out anyway!
Remove all seats, front seat belt reels (torx 50), door sill plates, centre console, seat belt buckles. Everything on top of it needs to be removed. Then just pull it out. It won't be easy to pull out because of all it's contours, but just keep pulling it from various places! Putting it back is the reverse of removal!
Check out the photo for the state of my carpets! And they cleaned up very well.

You probably wont ruin the carpet by taking it out, but you may ruin the foam padding. If you are careful and pull slowly, you probably wont have any problems. Even if the padding sticks to the floor in some areas, you will still be able to glue the carpet back to it. You can buy the carpet glue at auto parts stores, all of them I've seen have it in stock. It comes in a red can I think, made by 3M.
My suggestion is to not even take the carpet out just to clean it. You will have PLENTY of room to manuver in there once the seats are out. Get a few cans of upholstry cleaner and go at it. It'll take a lot less time to do and you'll have similar results, IMO.

I dont have any glue in my carpet..........
It would make sense to just remove the seats and some panels if you are just going to clean it, when you replace it, then you take everything out.......

if the bolts are really rusted...nail em with some WD40 and let it soak in, jack up the car and get under it if you have to...the bolts go through. just make sure you get the torx bit seated down into the head of the bolt, push it in with your hand, lean on it. get a breaker bar or use a wrench or pipe to get some more leverage on the ratchet. it'll come out...ive had to bust quite a few loose in the junkyard.
What if the torx bit that holds the seatbelt to the floor is stripped? How would somebody get that out? I was looking through my car and it seems the previous owner completely stripped that bolt.....

2. Drill it out.
3. Weld a nut to it.
4. Try forcing something into the hole and get it to turn without slipping.
Thats all I can think of.

I'm pretty sure the size for the seatbelt holddown is a T-47. Was a pain in the butt to get it out, but after some expletives, a new T-47 bit, some vice grips and about 5 minutes it came out.
