ive pulled the center console out of my maro and i perfer it like that.. only bad thing w/ the camaro is that the radio/hvac pod is part of the center console.. i dont have ac or heat.. or a radio, for the time being..

if u decide to go this route, there are some wires ull need to hide.. a copule from the shifter (for reverse light?).. the light for the console (mine had one anyways)..

and ull need a boot for the e-brake.. there aviable from lokar and there not that expensive.. maybe a boot for the shifter too.. use the boot from the shifter and e-brake to cover the oversized holes in the carpet..

-mike (loomdog)

edit: i forgot, if u have power windows and hatch release, ull need to relocate those switches

3rd gen monte carlos have a gap between the radio and console. I had my console out afor a day when i was doing some interior work and had to drive 15 min to work.... it sucked. I had nothing to rest my arm on.

LOL nice picture

now that i think of it, there was no E brake in the car i had a pic of... thats why it looked so clean.. i forgot about that lol but with all the wires tucked away, no radio/hvac housing, it looks sweet. i personally think it looks worlds better when theres racing buckets in there, or something other than stock hehe
