The camaro lighters were by the bezel.

Why use a Camaro console anyway? =\

So ya mean the lighters werent on the console? And i got a camaro console cause i dont like the way the 85-92 console looks and couldnt find an 82-84 bird console. Plus the camaro consoles are just badass.

the lighter for a camaro is up next to the gauge cluster. Upper right hand protruding squarish thing. It is the thing on the right side of the driver pod.

The HVAC bolts above the stereo. The ashtray goes below the stereo in the center console.

Do you have any pics of the radio , HVAC w/o the cover or preferably the bracket that the hvac connects to?

Thanks again

Afraid not, but the HVAC controls (mine are from a Firebird, BTW) are attached to a wide U-shaped sheetmetal bracket (something like this-> ||___|| ) using three 7 mm head screws; that bracket is, in turn, attached to the frame of the lower console using two more 7mm screws. The bracket itself is not flat, so it would be difficult, but not impossible, to make one to fit properly.
The ash tray used to sit just in front of the shifter, where you can now see two red pushbuttons.

It's just bolted/screwed in place....a T-15 Torx to remove the faceplate, and a 7mm socket with a short extension to remove the bracket and HVAC controls from it...assuming they are still present.
