4th gen SS Hood for 3rd gen

Of the places that you can get the SS Hood, who makes the best one for the money? I've found 3 places to get them, all about the same price. But they all look just a little different. Length of cowl after the opening, and the hight of the hood seem to be the settle differences. I'll attach a pic, so you can see the hood that has my attention! I'm going to have the entire car painted before summer, so I want to get all the body goodies now. Also, has anyone shaved their door handles? I'll make another post for this though. Thanks

Joe

They're all the same hood. ASCD is the only company that makes the SS hood for thirdgens.

I had one of those on my 1984 Z28 H.O. (converted to 1992 Z....was going to take the decals off the side when I get the front nose done) I liked the looks of it....but it's not built near as good as the SS hood.......

Let me add a plug for ASCD. I have used a few glass hoods on a some other cars I have had from Hardwood and Unlimited products and compared to these to companys the finsh and fit of the ASCD hood was perfect. They make nice fiberglass hoods. The hoods I have gotten from Hardwood and Unlimited products left a lot to be desired. I think Jim can cover more details if you want to know about the quality of his Hardwood hood.
