WTF is wrong with my domelights and floor lights?

WTF is wrong with my domelights and floor lights?
This is in the 86 Trans Am. When i open the door, the domelight and the floor lights dont come on. If I push the brake pedal, the lights come on. This has never happened before now, and its the only way i can make those lights work. Any ideas?

You might have a bad relay or fuse. I would look it up in a Chilton or Haynes book you can pickup from any autoparts store and track it down. I would bet on something like that before a loose wire. Just my $0.02. Hope this helps.
