I'm not for sure if there is necessarily a problem. Mine creak and groan also. Most of my noises come from my hatch roof though. It seems as though the noises are more prominent in the wintertime and with the cold weather. Most third gens aren't known for their quiet interiors. If you have the hatch roof, make sure everything is good and tight. I took care of most of mine with a few adjustments.

I read that post wrong. Sorry bout that. Forget what I said. Now let me try that again. Sounds like something is out of alignment somewhere in your window track. Can you see anywhere on your window where it may be rubbing or scratching the glass?

Do your windows have 2 stripes going up them? When I replaced all my weatherstripping I had to readjust my window and theres these two tabs with velcro or something similar on them that keep the window from leaning or being pulled outwards from the int. I put these in too far and they rubed so bad the whole window vibrated and made loud groaning noises. And the triangle thing behind your mirror could be outta alignment too.

I posted the thread below sometime ago, and while it concerns 'noise' in the door, the sixth pic does show the two guides that 85Sport mentions (often the felt on the guides wears through so that there's metal to glass contact, which could easily make the sound you described).
